ACK! That's not good. (( HUGS ))

I can understand the concern about whether or not the surgery would be cancelled. I'd imagine that they would not want to risk doing the surgery if he's sick. Hopefully, you'll both be feeling better by tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed..and hope the surgery goes well.

Thanks guys... I know its only arthoscopic knee surgery... but I'm really nervous... my H doesn't think its a big deal...but to me its anesthesia... I have such a fear of abandonment and I'm worried...what if something goes wrong? It feels childish but its how i feel...

Workin' a therapy hangover here.... I was gonna take a nap but I almost forgot I have to go pick my son up from his friends house! I forgot which friend he was at last night. Jeez. Bad mom! Hung up from t about 40 mins ago, it was a really emotional session, I'm so glad she didn't let me quit when I wanted to. I did some really good work today. (pats self on back.)

((( RTS )))

Remember, feelings just ARE. I can understand being worried. I tend to panic because my mind tends to wander towards worst case scenarios. I am trying to work towards changing my thoughts because they affect my feelings quite a bit. I'm hoping you'll be able to do some of that too, although I know how difficult it is.

That's awesome - although draining. I hope you're able to get some rest!

Thanks Elliemay, my Social Security Card is in our portable safe(I hope), and we can't find the key. I only need it to verify eligibility to work in the US. Hope we find it soon.

Alright, folks, I gotta get back to my mom's house.....I still need to pack some clothes and take out the trash/recycle....but I did get quite a bit accomplished!

Will try to pop in later tonight...but if not, hope everyone has a good night and day tomorrow. I will be at the hospital with my mom cuz she has her CAT scan and they will most likely be moving and adding another drain in her liver. So, it will most likely be an all day thing.

I know this is not very charitable and loving... but the other bad thing about my H's surgery is that I'm not great at having to play the nurse/care taker role... not looking forward to that... I don't have a problem with doing it for my kids but when it comes to H... i feel an edge about it...

Brrrr. it is so cold here tonight. The wind was really blowing and it cut right through you.

I'm watching Chopped on Food Network currently. They amaze me with what they can make with strange ingredients in such a short amount of time.
Thanks for this!

Sorry, I'm just going around hugging everybody (except SD).

I am so tired. The employee having heart issues was admitted to the hospital. I hate that for her. Hopefully it was not a heart attack. She still didn't know when she called me around 1pm.

Since then, I've had a frantic staff who couldn't find a client medication (it was there all along).

I went in to meet the psychologist consultant. Two hours later I was calling for coverage for 2nd shift Monday, which is apparently the absolute worst time to get people to work for. There will only be two people, on grocery shopping night and the second staff could only work until 9pm, so one of the two 3rd shift workers has to come in two hours early.

I got back home at 6:30. At 7:30, another staff called me and we had the following conversation:

Me: Hello?
Him: Hey Chopin this is Dumbass and I'm wondering if the menu currently posted is correct because normally the 7a-7p shift makes lunches for Mondays and they didn't so I'm trying to figure it out and maybe it's the wrong menu because Wednesday when I worked at the other group home the menu was different and the menu at my house said winter week 6 on it so should I call the other house or go by winter week 1 it makes sense to just go ahead and do week one thanks for the help bye.
Me: Bye.

c o u c h 38 - The dark ages....

So I'm going to go relax now and pray Dumbass doesn't call me back. Wishing a happy Monday to everyone!!

Chopin, just think of it this way - you solve problems without even having to say a word! That's impressive.

I'm looking forward to bed tonight. My puppy houseguest was nervous at night, so I didn't get much sleep this weekend.

Sweet dreams, all.

Hey all...
I'm back. Had a great evening. 4 hours of chatting. And I got some very nice flowers. I haven't been on a date in two years...this was nice.

Sounds like there's a lot going on tomorrow. Sending good thoughts to everyone.
