When in doubt, twirl.

Quotation from an old GD flier. A good philosophy, me thinks. You may get odd looks.

Pretty good day. Slept in. Mostly put together a new computer desk. Need to go to Lowe's and get an offset screwdriver to finish the task. I love new tools. Heels win in lax and bball.

Hi Ready. Noah, this is the Lord, Noah. Cosby is pretty funny. Fat Albert was a Saturday AM staple of my youth.

Hey Ike... they have some pretty neat tools out there now... that are versatile enough to fit in certain spaces... once a year I go in search of the newest tools for the "other Ike" in my life who also loves tools...

Have fun shopping
Thanks for this!

RTS...did the doc say H needs to stay off his knee?

I can see how some of Cosbys stuff would be triggering.

Evening, Ike. Good to hear about UNC's wins. How is living in SC going? Do you like your new job? Is your wife and daughter settling in?

Before anyone answers, I'll probably be asleep. Feel my meds kicking in. Have a good night or day wherever you are.

What did you read? I am about finished with the Hamlet by Faulkner. It is heavy sledding, but worth it.

I kind of thought the point of therapy is to grow and change, and point of this forum to support others in that growing and changing process.
I have been thinking very carefully about this.

Yes, therapy is about growth and change, and so is the therapy support group.

But these are not the only things a therapist and support group should provide.

I also want to be supported and encouraged, calmed and consoled.

Example: Your child tries to reach the cookie jar on the top shelf, falls and hurts himself.

I say, hug him and sooth him and bandage him at once. There will be time to lecture him later.
