I am seriously thinking about adding greek yogurt to my diet. It goes against every thing I believe in! Fighting with myself, but reading research about it's positive effects against cancer cells. Hmmmm. Everything I have learned shows me that animal products literally turn on cancer cells. Now should I take the chance and try this "new" research? And taking milk away from a raped mother cow? Not sure if I can do it without huge guilt issues...after all I "think" I am saving the world. WWWD?

Boston this afternoon. Have a badly timed appointment that I have rescheduled THREE times. I really don't want to be in the city at 4pm...but I will go.

Wiki, I'm glad you're feeling better. I love Greek yogurt, but I'm only vegetarian, not vegan, so I don't have the moral dilemma.

It's snowing here for pretty much the first time this season. Well, winter, since this season is spring. I have about 15 birds of at least 6 species at my feeders on the deck. The male cardinal looks glorious against the white background.

I have T this morning and an appt with my primary doctor this afternoon. She's not going to be happy - I've gained weight and my cholesterol went through the roof since I last saw her. Sigh. I'm preparing for the lecture.

I read the book first and both are amazing... pretty similar

I really and truly hated the Life of Pi book. Hate it so badly, I completely blanked it out and when someone was talking the plot of the movie, I was really perplexed. Had to sit and think about it to remember it and why I hated it.

That's the 2nd complaint in about a week on these boards about not being warned about SA. That's a pattern. I can just see some stupid movie executive going, well we don't want the feminists mad at us for calling it sex, so we just call it violence. We don't have another category for it. Right. Cuz they didn't used to show it in such graphic detail. Time to get a movement going.
