So, I fell flat on my face this morning on the way into the swim club. Hit my elbows and one knee. I feel like a 6 year old with a skinned knee. But, it's a sign of progress that I let the nice man who offered assistance to help me get back up on my feet. I usually wave off offers of help, especially if I'm embarrassed. It felt kind of good to take his hand and have him help me up. Maybe it's not so bad to accept help when it's offered.

OK, officially, the Tar Heels suck. I say we rent a Cessna and fly it into Roy's house. Do I take BBall too seriously? Nah, that's not it.

We got here! The last hour we could hardly see the road, it was SO bad out! My H drive that part. The speed limit was 70 but we and most everyone else drove at about 30! I was so scared because we saw cars in the ditch! It's supposed to snow at least 4 more inches tomorow too.

The radish roses were a big success. You slice them thin and soak in red wine vinegar, salt and sugar, so they are pickled. Then roll the slices up around one another to create the look of roses.

Apparently in addition to rinsing and soaking the quinoa when I didn't need to, I didn't need the lid on when bringing it to a boil. Hopefully my next try will finally turn out.

Rainbow, I know worse words than "goy" for non-Jewish women. Lol. Several of my husband's friends and relatives were really displeased when we announced our engagement and I learned new words. Lol.

Is it every night of passover or just one that there is a seder?

Our congregation is very reform and most people do only one night. Some people do two nights. I personally don't know anyone who does very night.

How did your weekend go, stopdog?

It has been a bit hectic, but should slow down within the next couple of weeks.

I am thinking about getting a fitness trampoline.

Not here its the 25th already. I know there's a Jewish contact at the uni. I'll have my own Seder. Not as much fun though.

Really? They have places here you can go bounce for a while. Whole giant roomsful of trampolines. And rent them out for parties.

We have group trampolining here too, but not close to me and of course, I don't want to trampoline with others.

I had a concussion this week. I still have a stupid headache.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm also happy that Wichita State and Florida Gulf Coast are still in. And that Wichita State was the first to knock out a one seed.

hey BPA...I am up with a stomach bug hangover! Headache. Ick. My stomach is much better and I ate a good breakfast. Steel cut oats and fresh fruit and some cultured coconut milk with flax and chia. It's better than wheaties!
For my headache: Feverfew and some Capsaicin Cream in my nostrils.

I am seriously thinking about adding greek yogurt to my diet. It goes against every thing I believe in! Fighting with myself, but reading research about it's positive effects against cancer cells. Hmmmm. Everything I have learned shows me that animal products literally turn on cancer cells. Now should I take the chance and try this "new" research? And taking milk away from a raped mother cow? Not sure if I can do it without huge guilt issues...after all I "think" I am saving the world. WWWD?

Boston this afternoon. Have a badly timed appointment that I have rescheduled THREE times. I really don't want to be in the city at 4pm...but I will go.
