I've seen some stuff about the involvement of women in the war effort during WWII, quite interesting.
I've always been fascinated with blacksmithing, glass blowing, making glass beads, etc....all so amazing to me. Sadly I would truly be an accident waiting to happen.

So is SD but she refuses to see that.

Well...I didn't want to say anything but I was rather concerned about the lesson she learned today.

I am assuming the pets know to stay far away from SD when she is blow torching.

We discussed her partner upping SD's life insurance policy. LOL
Thanks for this!

So anybody have any talent that they really wish they possessed?

I would LOVE to be able to sing. Unfortunately, as much as I truly enjoy singing and it picks up my mood like nothing else, I really can't sing....really really can't .... lol

Hey. I still have all my digits.
Some may be wrapped up in some bandages. But they are right there. Attached and everything.

There are always learning curves in each new endeavor.
The pets are always in the house (usually with treats on my bed) whenever I am learning new skills.

Very happy to hear that the pets are safe and possibly a bit spoiled(?) while you learn new skills.

The pets are so unbelievably spoiled it is not even funny. I have an 80lb dog who cries until I pick him up and let him sit in my recliner with me because he won't jump up by himself, the other one will take all his toys and put them in my bed and sleep on top of them and that is just the tip of the spoiled pet ice burg.

What about taking singing lessons?

Isn't that all that counts?

I have never taken babies on 4 wheelers.

I am not talking about cool. I feel pretty certain I am seen as the crazy eccentric aunt who will probably fall and get eaten by her pets eventually.
Just different forms of risk. Children make too much noise when they get hurt.

When I bought my first house some 20+ years ago, my father gave me a blow torch. I've never taken it out of the box. I've always been convinced that I would end up absentmindedly pointing it at my face.

I'd be worried I'd burn the house.
