It is hard to have a party when you can't get to the site.

I listened to an oboe concerto.
Super fun.

I put it down to the over excitement of both the new job and couch anniversary.

Oh good, shots!

Survived the pdoc visit. A psychologist sat in on it. At least someone else heard the way he doesn't always listen to what I say and then lectures me about something that isn't really relevant. The psychologist gave me a scale to rate the appointment before I left and she told me most people rate their appointments quite a bit higher. Funny!

The sunday nytimes had an article about muscatel wines becoming popular. My dad always made a barrel of white, of muscato. I have a bottle in the fridge right now.

I am not a huge wine fan. I like port that is not too sweet.
I like some lighter/dryer reds. More of a merlot than cabernet fan.
I don't like white wine at all.

I'm kinda here....

I just woke up from a 3 hour nap. I'm cold. I have a headache. I'm groggy. I hate taking long naps....as much as I know I needed one, I usually feel cruddy afterwards.

I wish I had some food in this house. I definitely have to eat something, though, before going to group T tonight. I don't want to relive the episode from 2 weeks ago when my blood sugar crashed and I had to get up in the middle of group T to get some cinnamon altoids in my car. Digesting 6 of them at one time is hard to do. LOL.

Just came back from zumba! I like it but it wears me out. I'm taking a shower and then off to T! I'm scared to see her today.

(((( granite ))))

You know the answer to that one, granite....when you feel like canceling, that's when you know to push through and go.

I'm feeling the same way about group T and individual T this week. I don't want to go....but I will go. Dag nabbit.

I'm here too. Just caught up with the reading.

As for the discussion of wines last night, I am not much of a wine drinker...partly because I don't drink much anyway...partly because I start to wheeze pretty badly and feel lousy after drinking even a tiny bit of wine (mostly red wine, I think). Anyway after a few times of dealing with that, I decided that I am not a wine drinker

I hope that you do go to T this week (granite). At least then you will be able to try to talk to T and have her clarify what she meant.

I used to love drinking wine, amongst other things.....But when my migraines became so bad and I was given narcotic medication for it, I stopped drinking.

Now, the idea of drinking is tempting - but the recollection of how I feel afterwards, as it triggers a horrible migraine for me - keeps me from going through with it. The last time I drank was in early December when I went totally overboard with it at a party. I felt awful the next day, no surprise there. Even those who don't get migraines would feel pretty awful after all I drank.
