Sometimes it helps to rearrange the pillows. Or stop using them.

Do you know what all the crying is about?

Has your T ever dropped you? I don't think so. I don't think she will.

There used to be a fashion for artwork on fingernails. Also, wasn't there a fashion for henna artwork on hands and arms? (Madonna did it.) That sort of thing sounds ideal for your daughter and she'd be sitting sown.

wow my T is cool.so are all my peeps here. if it wasnt for all of you i would never have talked to her about those report cards. she said she isnt going to judge me at all.in fact i think she said everything you all said and then some .the statement of the day is "when things are right you act right".i'm going to write more on a new thread of addit to the other i started..

strange thing about e-mail ,i had sent her an e mail after our last session .....

i found a report card from 2ed grade, the dates were 1972-73 in it the mother was telling the teacher to criticize me publicly if i didn't know the directions of an assignment.she said that that was what she was doing at home and it helps my busy body attitude. this must be when i was when she brought me there and the Therapist told her to do this.the teacher thanked her .these people are all just sick.good luck.

i realy just wanted her to know what dates and to know kind of what went on with the mother &teacher. anyway

so she said .you sent me an e -mail do you remember why you sent it.she also said that it is against her policy to e-mail and asked what to do about it.

i said that i was sorry and i wouldn't do it again

she said that was not her point.that yes she does not like e-mail but that if it meant that i feel comfortable saying something to her in e-mail that i would never say in session ,that she would rather me e-mail but she did also say she didn't like e-mail.i felt it was nice of her to say that i could if it was easier .but i don't want to go against her boundaries.but in a strange way i don't feel i need to e-mail her. after that small conversation she brought up what i said in the e-mail somewhat. she wouldn't really comment on what was said.she asked of i remember what i wwrote and if i wanted to talk about it.....so with her help i accually did start talking about it.she didnt seem to freak out at all.

Granite I'm glad your session went well! I am running out the door to my daughter's gymnastics but thought I'd stop and say hi to the couchsters. I haven't had time to catch up yet today but I'll be able to once we get to the gym. I'll be back in a little bit

I'm so happy that you had a good session granite! and to think- she gave you the ok on the email if that's what will make talking easier for you! That's what my T does as well, and I do use it, at least once a week. Sounds as though she's lifted her boundaries for you and really listened and learned from what happened a week ago. This is a good thing!

Well, maybe there are some rules at work. Guy next door got fired for running an e-bay business out of the branch. Using personnel and company truck to run errands for his sideline business. Now if they'd just crack down on earphone usage and singing at work, I'd be a happy camper: or at least as non-unhappy as I'm likely to be.

OMG GRANITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am literally BEAMING right now after reading your post!!!! I am soooooooo happy for you!!!!!

YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I hear ya about the email thing. My T also doesn't like doing therapy by email, but he allows me to email if I need to. I try to limit it to logistical stuff - but I DO email him in crisis because I am unable to pick up the phone and call him. He knows this, so he doesn't stop me from emailing. He would much rather me get it out than hold onto it and have it come out in other harmful ways.

I used to work with a guy that was fired for running a travel agency from his cubicle. We were not in the travel industry.

Yay, granite! You're a very courageous woman.
Thanks for this!

Back from group T....and I have a nasty migraine brewing AGAIN....UGH. The stress.

The session went pretty well. We hashed out some stuff and I was very vocal....but I didn't address any of my stuff, as usual.

Afterwards, I decided to take some ME time and do some shopping at a couple craft stores - then stopped at the grocery store to pick up some fresh made black bean burgers, some fresh pineapple mango salsa, fresh veggies and some cilantro (since I don't have much ready to pick on my plant).

Sure, I ended up spending $100 that I don't have, between the 3 stores....but I'm not going to freak out about that until tomorrow....
