Ughh... When anxiety is high, I become obsessed with distractions.... I just watched 2hours of In Treatment... but I have to get up for work in 4 hours. I'm going to be exhausted .... the problem is I'm not sleepy. I hate insomnia... maybe this whole thing was a mistake.

Morning all...
Lola, I'm glad you are okay at grandmas. We all care about you a lot.
I hope Ready and Murray got some sleep.

Rainy Monday here...going to do some laundry, cleaning, and lots of couching. Picking up my niece this afternoon too. I love Mondays.

Morning, couch peeps!

Lola, glad to see that you're with your grandma and are working towards making some progress. I'm relieved!

Woke up this morning to lots of rain. What a gloomy day! Gotta get my daughter up and out to school. I'm not scheduled for any assignments today (yet), so I'm hoping to get some good cleaning time in. Made some progress with that over the weekend which feels good.

Was at the pool with my daughter and 2 of her friends ALL DAY - from the time the pool opened til the time it closed. I'm glad the kids had a good time. As for me, I was alone the entire time (except for when the girls wanted me in the pool to play a game with them which was fun). Last year, I was chatting with people, sitting with other groups, etc. - and here I found myself wanting to just be alone. That's not a good sign. *sigh*

Time won't let me go, and the night won again. Another night with only about 2 hours of sleep. This isn't going to work for much longer. I do hope that it is a busy day at work to keep me distracted.

MUE - I'm glad that you were able to relax at the pool. Sometimes it's okay to not want to interact with others.

Wiki - Enjoy the day with your niece.

I hope everyone else has a wonderful day.

Morning couch.

Lola, I am glad you are doing a little better. Hopefully being at your grandma's will help.

I'm just checking in before heading out to my inservice. Hopefully I won't be too bored. Why do I always have to get work done ahead of time?

Well, I need to go feed my kitties and put on my shoes, so I can leave.

I hope everyone has a good day. I'll check back in after I get home.

neat....
They have a thing at a spa here on Friday for female cancer patients, manicure/pedicure for free. I don't usually go to these things because I think I don't deserve it and I could pay for it. My Daughter was telling me that I was robbing the woman doing it of a blessing. That they want to do something, and I was taking away their opportunity to give to me. So, I might go.

Wiki, your daughter is wise!

One of the things I've been trying to learn is that by me being so stubborn and independent, I am taking away from people who want to be there for me and help me. It's certainly an eye-opener.

Could it be true? Is it raining and I am not writhing in agony with a migraine? Sure, the other pain is there - but no migraine? How is this possible?

I'm taking advantage of this opportunity.....time to clean!

Does anyone have experience with fund raising sites? My nephew and his wife had a preemie last week...she's just over a pound. Her mom was only 6 mos along, and ran into some life threatening issues. The baby will be hospitalized for 3 months...and people want to help them. I just have to set something up.

Any time I do a search for therapists in my area, XT's wife pops up at the top of the list. I only know it's her because he often called her by her first name and I know she was a t too. It's weird...he didn't speak very well of her. I have this sick thought of hooking up with her just to hear the other side! I would never do that of course, but I wish I could filter her out of my searches.

I created a facebook page that accepted paypal and also a seperate site for cc donations via a third party and raised 3500 to get my bro an ipad for use during chemo and radiation. Our goal was 700.

Hi couch.. Feeling kind of blah today. I did get a nice surprise in my inbox today- a e-mail from t. I emailed him Wednesday after our appointment with just a brief after thought about what we talked about. Wasn't expecting him to reply, but he did and it was good to connect with him... Feeling really disconnected from most people these days!

just spoke with my attorney. So ex-to-be is in prison (for something I find morally reprehensible) and I'm the one who's mental "issues" are being thrown about by his attorney.

OUCH, Murray. That is a hard thing to endure. I hope you can get some support IRL or with T about this. It's hard to have your character attacked as a legal ploy. (( HUGS ))

Thanks MUE. Yeah, my T will be great about it I am sure...just feeling so exposed and ashamed now. I have been working so hard on my issues for years and when they are thrown back in my face, and made public in a way, it is really hard to cope.

((( Murray )))

I hope you are able to find something rewarding through all of the distress. Public humiliation is a topic that I am trying to work through as well, and it is horrible.
