Morning couch.

Wiki, you did the right thing calling the cops. Hopefully the kids are safe now.

Lola, I hope things turn around soon, so you can be less stressed out and less pissed off at your current situation.

To everyone else who is having a hard time that I missed, I hope life improves for you.

Well, I fell asleep early last night (before taking my evening doses again) and had the strangest dreams. Things spontaneously bursting into flames and having to run from the fire to not be burned. Weird. I really need to find a way not to fall asleep before taking my meds. Maybe I should set an alarm.

Well, due to falling asleep early, I was up at the crack of dawn (o my day off), so I got up and started laundry. Have 5 minutes before I have to go down to the laundry room to retrieve it from the dryer. Then, I guess I should clean, since I haven't done that in 2 or 3 weeks. I was doing so well cleaning on Saturdays, then worked asked me to work Sat. a few weeks in a row and I got out of the habit. Now that I am free on a Sat. I guess I should get back into the habit.

Well, off I go to pick up my laundry. Then to try to clean a bit. I'll pop back in later today.

I hope everyone has a decent day.

It is unseasonably cool here. Feels fall-like at the moment. It should be in the 90s but is not. I miss the hot weather.

Ha. I can't walk my dog at lunch because he won't go with me. That is when he naps. And for him, nap trumps walk. Nap and snack combined trumps everything else in the world for him.

Well, I halfway cleaned.

I swept and mopped all the linoleum floors. I changed the kitty litter box. I wiped down the kitchen counters. And I am running the dishwasher. The bathroom fixtures didn't look that "bad" so I decided they can wait till next time. Same with the kitchen sink. The only thing that still definitely needs done is vacuuming...kitty hair all over...they shed like crazy in the summer.

Nap and snack trumps pretty much anything else for me, too.

It's nice to have a break from the blistering heat.

Wiki, you absolutely did the right thing. I remember reading somewhere that domestic violence calls are some of the most dangerous for the police and they're trained and armed. No way should you have gone over there.
Thanks for this!

Hey all...
I spoke with a different neighbor. She said that she has called the police 8 times in the past year. I feel better about calling now. A few weeks back the guy (who is a tree lopper) decided to used his huge wood chipper at 10 pm. I thought that was odd as well.

Anyhow...there is a breeze here but it's warm and sunny. I went for a swim and a kayak, cleaned my car and stopped at the farm market. All that before 3! I also squeezed in enough time to find a photo of Stopdog's bike...errrr lawnmower...errr bike...errrr:

I want one of those. The only thing that could make it better would be if it would fly too. Then I could cut grass and trim the tops of my trees. That would be so fun.

It needs a basket so you can put the little dogs that you take from neighbors in it.

I don't think that she had the lawn mower part on it. She was misunderstood. Remember Wicked? Defying Gravity and all. Not to mention Popular.

I used to try to think of ways to bicycle with my old dog. But at 80 pounds - she was hard to squeeze into the little basket. And she refused to wear her goggles.

And I would like one of these:DOGPOWEREDSCOOTER.COM
except my dogs would want to ride on it and not pull it.

I so want a jet pack. OR jetson car. or this:

So the doctor said that horse back riding "shouldn't" hurt my knee. I took a brace along just in case and I did need it Once the brace was on, the knee didn't hurt much. Now I'm sitting at the table with an ice pack strapped to it, thinking maybe that was not such a great idea.

My friend I co-own the trailer with really frustrates me as well. Virtually EVERY time we ride together, I have to go to her place to leave from there. I have to get my little trailer ready, load all my stuff and my horse, go over there, get the big trailer ready with her, and unload all my stuff and horse and reload it in the big trailer. Today, the place I wanted to ride is on the same road I live on, so I asked her to come by and pick me up. She told me that it would take her longer if she came to pick me up. Well, DUH. It takes me longer to come by her house and then go EVERY single ****ing time. It would always be faster for me to go straight to wherever it is we are riding. Then the ride itself was frustrating for a variety of reasons, until I stopped even trying to interact with her or the other people and just concentrated on enjoying my time with my horse.

arg mkac...that sounds difficult. Which is why I don't co-own things, other than my home. My car in my name, h's in his. I wouldn't let my kids get vehicles until they could register them in their own names. (18). We even have separate dogs! (although Lex does like me better than him...lol)

Stopdog...I would puke if my bike went off the ground! And no jetpack, thank you! But enjoy! We were promised hovercrafts dammit! We should be like the Jetsons in 2062, but I won't be around anymore.

How often do you do the cleanse?
Is it just time every so often or is there a specific reason?
It does not sound fun from what I have read about it.

Hi everyone. I'm on vacation until 8-6. W00t. W rented a chalet in Columbus, NC, in the middle of nowhere, but lots of waterfalls. I'm excited.

Ran across this website that helps identify similar authors. It has helped me discover Chester Himes and David Goodis and Ken Bruen- authors I really like. Hope someone else finds it useful.
