Are you afraid of spiders in general?

That being said we dont kill the ones that live outside our bay window.... We use those as a sort of science education thing where we can safely watch him (we named him Boris) from inside the house.
He's come to a sticky end
Don't think he will ever mend
Never more will he crawl 'round
He's embedded in the ground

Sorry. I know how isolating and invalidating it can be when others don't understand.

Brene Brown quote:

When you tell people their situation is only "perception" and they can change it, you shame them, belittle them, and in the case of domestic violence, you put them in extreme physical danger. Rather than dismissing someone's experience as perception, we might want to ask, "How can I help?" or "Is there some way I can support you?"

CE - I am not a fan of spiders. When I was a pre-teen, I had a big spider jump at me. I didn't realize it until about a half hour later when I bent over to get something that it was IN MY HAIR. ACK!

Hello everyone. Good luck to your kids and teachers alike if this is the first day of school. I'm enjoying my last day of the extended weekend. Hopefully I'll move off the couch and clean up and hopefully get a haircut. What are you all doing today?

these were the spiders my son had to deal with in Lithuania. I may have said this before but it is a funny story he posted on fb

they would run across the cameras and I would have to go and check what was going on because I would only see it out of the corner of my eye.then one night I found on on my balcony he was an admirable opponent and fought well .but I hit him with a stick and pummeled him and then hit him 6 more times to send a message to his friends not to mess with me...
not sure if he has them in Tokyo

Hehe, that's funny, granite The wooden spider is gorgeous - did a local artist in Lithuania make it? (I notice the caption on the photo is in Portuguese though, so maybe not.)
