I'm hiding in my room as my new housemate is cleaning up. I don't know why, she spent 5 hours last night pulling out the cupboards and cleaning and rearranging.

I'd see if she does laundry.

Alt country-Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Son Volt, Avett Bros., Emmylou Harris, Robert Earl Keen. It is a country rock type sound whose origin is often credited to Gram Parsons(Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros.etc.) And shouldn't Gram Parsons be in the Country and/or Rock Hall of Fame?

Here's a list from Wikipedia.

List of alternative country musicians - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think the Insane Clown Posse is hip-hop(I had to google them).

In that case alt country is ok.

Now my house mate is mopping....whats the world coming to.

BPA, this is the epitome of alt country. IMHO

And I have no idea where you got the clown posse, I had never heard of them. Um... thanks.

Evening couch. Had a sub in the EBD (emotional/behavioral disabilities) classes today. The kids were horrible. The sub sent 3 out to the dean. 3 others walked out and went to the dean on their own. After that the dean came down and "yelled" at the kids and told them to behave...but it didn't work. They were wild again after she left. We have a sub again tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow will go better. I really don't need to deal with another day like today. Argh!

Well...it's almost time to start a new couch. Is it too early for me to start it?

You think she may have a touch of OCD? I normally wouldn't throw out a diagnosis(especially in this crowd), but she seems extreme.

Go for it Squirrel. I used to look forward to the final pages of the couch(and beyond) would in fact wait until then to post in volume. But I have been called down and now confine my posts to the proper 100 pages as set out by my betters.

New couch started, since this one has almost reached it's limit.

It can be found here:

I think she may have. After the 3rd hour last night I had to go out and give her a hand. She was still going at 11pm. Not that I have anything against people with OCD just as long as they realise I don't share their view of law and order.

I used to like pushing the couch to its limits too. I really miss it, the mods seem to be on top of things and usually close pretty soon ater 100 pages. now

I hate that. You think they're giving out our isp's to the NSA. It's a joke. I am not that paranoid. OK. maybe I am, just don't tell anyone.

RTS-I got a shrill of anger when you posted what H did. I would have taken the meatball sandwich and threw it across the room. Okay, maybe not in front of children..but yeah, for sure. I'm totally sorry there was such a disregard for you there.
