I just cleaned my entire apartment, now to go to the bank as my direct deposit went to my old account... uggg, I am beginning to think things going wrong is my new normal.

Yeah, I just want to sit quietly on the upper deck and not really talk much and watch everyone else play. Is that selfish?

Well if you call others out to play for your observation only, then I do believe that makes me a puppet to your hand!
Sorry your not having a happy happy day....

((( wiki )))

I'm glad that you're moving to the PTSD unit and am hoping that you will get the help you need. Hang in there!

Just got home from my assignment at the behavioral health center. Two of the staff members recommended me for a full time partial care administrator position there, so the director talked to me about it today. She is contacting her boss to see if they can eliminate the requirement for a bachelor's degree so that I can be considered for the position.

The good part would be that I would have full time work, benefits and work at a place that I enjoy.

The bad part is that I would have to let my agency know that I can't fulfill the assignments that I committed to through December...the other bad part is that the salary is about 33% less than what I make interpreting and about 40% less than my last full time job. It's not enough to allow me to keep my house, but if I combine this with some part time interpreting work, I just might be able to make ends meet. I'm not sure I can handle it all, but we'll see!

Right now I am playing the game, and should get moved to the PTSD unit. Where I can have a phone, a bra and shoelaces. OMG. At least I am doped up enough not to totally freak out.
Give me a phone, a bra and shoelaces and I'll conquer the world!

I hope the surgery goes well, granite. It's nerve wracking, for sure. Keeping positive thoughts for him.

I woke up this morning wondering how Wiki was, hoping there was some news. I'm glad she is getting help.
Granite Hope all goes well with your dad.
MUE I'm sure you'll make the decision you think is best.
Wasn't Margaret Thatcher called the woman in the iron bra?
I'm off to find coffee breakfast, watch a movie, clean the fishtank, maybe tidy round the house a bit. Distractions I need distractions.

I hear that, BPA! My sense of pride and independence seem to get in the way of that for me.

I think she was the woman with the Iron Chastity Belt, though she needn't have bothered. Is this too risque? I never know when I cross the line.

The first time I heard that, Hankster, I kicked the slats out of the cradle.

On my last post, i typed cradle as creadle, which made me think of treacle and a certain poster who uses this word often and shall remain nameless BPA and decided I would finally look it up. How has this word escaped me for so long?

Hey Ike! I never know if what I say is too risque either, so I tend not to say it. Like the time I said that everyone masturbates at H family dinner and my MIL got all upset. Well 85% of people say they do and the other 15% lie.
Thanks for this!

I do not overuse treacle. That would be treacle abuse and treacle is just too good for that.
