morning my friends. I actually slept so good last night. i love it when I wake up and realize it is morning .it happens so rarely. so off with my farther to meet with the surgeons this morning about his arteries and stuff

When I was younger I didn't have any problems at all being awakened at any time, I referred to it as waking and, "knowing which way is up".

Can yous guys send me some cool whip with a large file in it? I need peeps to break me out of this place. They stuck me in the schizo unit. Crazies everywhere, and I can't keep my phone. Grrrr. Pissing me off.

I stuck my phone in my panties, and I am going to try keeping it under my mattress. Nothing worse than using the unit phones. It's a blast when it buzzes too...lol.

I'm sorry that you got stuck on that unit. Despite the title of the unit and the other people, do you feel like you are getting the help you need? This might have been the only unit where they had openings for the type of med monitoring that you needed...

Hey Wikid, does it buzz you every time we post? LOL. I hope that the med eval time passes quickly. If you agreed to do it voluntarily, you can leave when you want, though, right?

That is not exactly true in my jurisdiction. Even where someone goes in voluntary, if they try to leave and the people in charge do not think they should, they simply file the involuntary paperwork against them.
I deal with a lot of pissed off clients over the voluntary does not really mean voluntary if the people at the hospital don't want you to leave concept.

no...voluntary is never voluntary. I have to file a "3 Day" which is actually "I'll give you 3 business days to figure out why I need to stay". Then they can say "because you are batsh it crazy, now you are sectioned".
Right now I am playing the game, and should get moved to the PTSD unit. Where I can have a phone, a bra and shoelaces. OMG. At least I am doped up enough not to totally freak out.

Just met with Doc. They are switching me to the PTSD unit this afternoon. Means I will have much more privileges, and I can go home Monday if I do ok. Yay. She actually apologized for keeping me on this unit for 3 days.
