People in pain tend to see things in black and white.

I am so old, I don't understand most text-speak. I have never used instant messaging and do not know how to do so, and I have heard of tweeting but again don't really know what it is or how to find it.

Does she have a habit of doing so?
(not usually my type of humor, but for some reason I could not resist this time)

Doing pretty well, thanks.

I feel I can attribute that to two things; one, I'm learning to embrace the management side of my job and that has once and for all cured me from caring about what others think, two, I have forgiven my abusers (while not excusing the abuse) and in that I have truly found freedom.

all around to all the couchies and a polite wave and nod of the head to Stopdog .

I am being productive today and am finally unpacking my books and some of my sewing stuff. Its a big job as I love books and have just a few (sarcasm there). Just came across one of the few books I was able to keep from my childhood. The book is a very special one that my dad gave me and I'm feeling quite nostalgic now. I haven't let myself p[en the cover yet, going to save that for later this evening. Even considering bringing it into T this week as we discussed the importance of books in my life last session. He said that reading was my main coping method- I could get so lost in the book I was reading that I would be able to block out everything around me and escape my fear.
Thanks for this!

Wow, Murray-I could have written that last sentence. I used to have a T-shirt that read, " A book is a present you can open again and again".
