I miss travel too.
Went to HK and mainland China in Jan for the first time--wow!! So much more on my bucket list.

I only want to travel for pleasure...so business you can keep, thanks anyway.........it'll me a late night for you if you still waiting to get back to NZ from there!!

My step fathers mother passes away today.... I don't deal with death well and i'm not really sure how to take this. I am all alone , again, and I am emotionally at the end of my rope. I am so so so tired of not feeling grounded. I am debating a trip home for the funeral I have several brothers and sisters who are going to take this much worse then me..... I need a therapist

Oh I am soo sorry Lola. losing someone close is very hard. I think it is important to listen to yorself and do what you need right now. If you need to go home, go. Do you ahve anyone around who can be with you right now though?

i don't have a T , I was going to search for one when my travel is done and I am not anywhere close to anyone here.... I am pretty numb right now , I am waiting for the shoe to drop on the "real" impact of the situation.... its all so surreal

Oh, Lola I am really sorry for your loss. You have had lots of upheaval this year.

I can only imagine how hard this must be for you.

My grandmother died in NZ while I was in the UK......it was an incredibly hard time, so I can relate. Can you call some friends or family for support? sorry that I dont know you better on here and may be asking the completely wrong questions.

Thanks for the support everyone, truth be told, I am just so so very tired... on every level. So over everything and so very very tired of all situations. Just tired, I appreciate the support.

Emotional fatigue can be hard to shake. For me, breaking my routine and doing something fun just for me sometimes helps.

Anything that you are looking forward to Lola, like anything this weekend or do you have to travel for funeral stuff first?? Can you take a day off work?

I am very tired, of everthing. I mentioned on another thread that today is the day I lost it! completely........in therapy, then with my boss on the phone. Its bad........

I am now taking time off work and will not step foot back in there until 11 days time. I just need the rest of my life to stop too. Its hard when we have to carry on for whatever reason.

Business travel is very tiring, and you've been doing a lot. Learning a new job is tiring too. And you've had a breakup and moved house. I don't suppose you've had a proper holiday for a while - and unemployment doesn't count.

You have every reason to be tired.
