Is the release of toxins only work if you have a certain volume of juice? Would it still work if you only drank 1/2 the amount each time?

Good morning, couch.. we have today and tomorrow off at school.. So we are hanging at home. D has Strep throat ( 4th time in 7 months) and although I hate that she is sick, but glad that she is sick during our time off, so she doesn't have to miss school and h and I don't have to argue about who is going to stay home with her!

I think I am out for the juice fast. My plan is to get back on my bike..

Oh, I do remember how contagious it is.. My daughter, son, and myself spent a couple of weeks passing it back and forth to each other last spring. Hoping that isn't the case this time around.

Enjoy your day!

Morning, couch peeps.

My BFF came over unexpectedly yesterday and spent the day with me and the kitties. We had Chinese for dinner, and it was just nice to have a day with her. She is such a keeper. No pressure with that friendship.

I'm going to contact my neurologist and ask if I can get my next treatment earlier - with Botox this time instead of whatever he used, cuz this last treatment is not helping at all. I did some research and found a 20% off RX card for the med that's used. That'll take a couple hundred dollars off the price. It's still too expensive, but they also have a co-pay assistance program that I will apply for.

Gotta get showered and get to my assignment. I only have one today, thankfully. My D has school and my mom is away on a day trip with her church - so I don't have childcare after 3 PM today - which means, I can't work.

I am hoping to get the energy to run a couple errands after my assignment.

About the juicing....I don't have a juicer or a blender, but I love the idea. I'd be fearful, though, of getting heartburn as I typically stay away from juice because of the GERD. I just might try though!

Jerz...I almost pre-empted my Juice Rant with a "no Jersey's allowed" lol. It wouldn't be good for you, and I am so glad you are strong enough to see that.

D is home for a few days...YAY. I have the little one all day today because it's a holiday...Columbus Day (don't even get me started on that)
Some of the school districts in NJ have the day off and others don't.

Thanks Wiki. I will be on the sidelines cheering everyone on who decides to juice.

Hope everyone enjoys this holiday celebrating the day native Americans discovered Columbus had illegally immigrated to their country. Lol.

Hi all. Suffering with a debilitating migraine today but have struggled through work & kids after school collecting to & from clubs. Just need this pain to stop. Wish H would show me some love - or even a little care - just cross with me for not feeling well. I never feel well! What's wrong with me?!

Feeling really, really down. Long story short, I accepted the super-scary-but-wonderful-opportunity assignment....and spent some time looking up youtube videos and practicing, which helped reassure me that I am quite capable of succeeding with it....

...and then am notified today - oh, we're giving it someone more qualified than you.....

I mean, it's bad enough that they offered something and took it away after I agreed to do it....but all I keep hearing is "MUE, you're not good enough" and it's leading me to a really, really bad place. I know it's a trigger for me, so I need to work through these terribly destructive feelings.
