Being British I'm not very clued up on Thanksgiving traditions, so I have to ask: people actually fry whole turkeys??? Can you buy special turkey-frying pots? Aren't they too big for a regular stove? How on earth do you lift it? How do you cook the middle without overdoing the outside? Genuinely interested!

Purpledaze.... They do sell turkey fryers... They are meant to be used with propane and used outdoors... You cant buy a turkey bigger than 16lbs if you want it to fit... I have not actually been the person responsible for that...my BILs like to do that... I do know it tastes good.

Good morning all.. I can't believe that I missed the pot smoking fun T and I have had a couple of serious and fun conversations on whether or not I should start smoking pot again. He is a big advocate of legalizing it and as well as using it very medicinal uses. He just reminds me that it is still illegal to smoke it in my state.. Damn that T he always has to be so rational!

Hi All. I haven't started shopping yet - help!
I'm seeing T tomorrow but haven't got the cash and I'm terrified. I need so badly to see her. Do you think I can pay her once I've got paid on Friday? I am in such a mess, I really don't know what I would do if I couldn't see her anymore. I have just heard my job is going so I have more financial "issues" to bring up with her. This is when I realise that I am only a client when I can pay. It hurts.

Is there a way you can contact your T before you get there tomorrow to ask if you can pay when you get paid? I think your T would appreciate a heads up and also asking before you get there would be considered tending to the relationship, which is a good thing. Then you can go tomorrow and talk with your T about what you will do prior to job ending, but hopefully you get a new one before the current one ends.

I'll be deleting my account as my oldest has been spying on me on the boards. I'll still keep up with you all but apparently I get no privacy.

Why is it necessary to delete your account? If she reads on here, does it matter? I think letting her bad behavior dictate what you can and cannot do is not a healthy thing. I would miss you if you left.

Not cool of her Lola. But I agree with SD. You have a right to keep this space as a place for you to come to. Let her read. What does she think she's going to find? Is she going back and gabbing to the rest about what your write? No, it's not cool but don't let that be the reason for you to go. You are the couch creator. You can't go.

Her and her husbands reading of my post led to her saying. " we all know how crazy" I am and essentially tell me that she doesn't want me around her kids anymore , if I feel this way. Regarding the post about the kids I made yesterday. I literally have no privacy anymore and anything I will ever say she will read. The board is no longer safe. I am currently not going to Christmas now and my entire family is in a tizzy.
