Nothing like going on vacation to stress me the hell out!!! ACK! Can we just fast forward to the part where I am sitting on the beach?

I think vacations are too stressful to bother with. The idea of vacations and holidays make me super glad I don't have children because then I would have to do both, and I don't like them.

I actually agree for once, I haven't taken a big vacation in over a decade.

anyone have any thing to do other than wash the area for "post poison ivy contact"?

I was wearing gloves but not long sleeves...i know...i know. I am trying to get it out of my liliac bush and I was yanking and yanking and pulling out the roots and I'm sure my forearms made contact. I washed area with soap and water.... anything else to do? I dont know if I'll have a reaction or not?

This site has some suggestions - wash yourself off thoroughly, wash your clothes and anything you might have touched.

Exchange student went last month. It emphasized the fact my D has never been. Time for Ike to sacrifice. A couple years back, we let her choose our vacation destination. We thought she would pick Disney. I was relieved she chose Hershey Park.

I have a Carl Hiassen autographed book. He signed it "Death to Mickey."

Seriously? I loved Disney. Other than the people. And the skin cells. And the germs.
The music was always upbeat. Lots of walking. And space mountain.

Sleep? what's that. Night 5. I'll crash sooner or later.

WP-- at Disneyworld I kept getting rammed into by a lady on one of those handicapped scooters. I was on the right hand side of a sidewalk with plenty of room on the left but she kept running into the back of my knees, all the while using the beeper/horn thingy.

If she had just said Excuse me I would have happily stood in the grass.

Disneyworld would be fun without all the people!

My H has family out in Lancaster PA. We used to take the kids there every summer which included a trip to Hershey. Beautiful country. Smells weird though. Too far from the ocean too. Of course, I am 10 min away and on a pond and I still feel too far from it. I really miss my morning beach walks in the old house.

I am so excited to get outside and work in the yard today. I finished pruning out my liliac bush so I just need to do the final poison ivy ridding process.... Pulled alot out by roots but } think there is more in there and it has trailers going under ground...

I didnt wake up with a rash so i must not react too much to it....

Then I need to finish picking up sticks....and raking yard . i need to put some grass seed patch down and then fertilize the rest of grass...

We have had no landscaping in the front of our yard . I plan on doing that too... I cant afford to pay someone to do it but I'm not helpless...

My new motto for myself is...if you want something done...get off your butt and do it... I HATE to excercise but this will be a good workout for me.

Be careful with the poison ivy stuff still. I would rather do almost anything than yard work.

2 hours and i filled 4 trash cans with sticks, vines and brush.... Filled 2 kitchen size trsh bags with poicon ivy vines and roots and trailers...hasnt got leaves yet so figure its a little saver to do now.... Moved all the large lilac branches to curb for the chipper guy to get.... Used hoses to outline where I want the flower beds and a new walk way.....

Now i have to shower so i can go buy rice for the dog and get Y son and i Lunch....then i have 4 tax returns to do...2 obligatory 2 i want to do... Then I am getting back to the yard....

Its rather freeing having H away this weekend.. I'm doing whatever I want outside and It doesnt matter to me what he thinks...
