Hi all,

I love my cardio kickboxing class Saturday morning. Then I get home eat breakfast and shower. I just feel so reenergized and renewed...it's great. Now if I could just get that same enthusiasm for practicing piano. Grrr!

Went riding for 3 hours and 55 minutes. My horse was AMAZING. Another rider collapsed with heat issues and my girl stayed really calm while I caught the other horse. She let a friend and the friend's horse pony her along while I helped the ill rider. She was just so sweet and willing and wonderful all day. Feeling really happy and content.

I took three girls shopping for prom dresses today. While they and W shopped, i walked 2.5 miles. Win Win. Cooked chicken wings on the grill and watched the Heels lose to 'Cuse in OT(Lax). Bummer.

I didn't get nearly enough work done today. I never made it back outside after doing the tax returns, delivering them and seeing my parents. Seriously, I need to get over my thing with my parents. They are getting so old.

I am trying out hot cross bun recipes. Now I have to go fob my practice buns off on friends.

Well done with your tax returns. I haven't even started mine.

Ooh. I love hot cross buns but they are not sold in this country... We always spend Easter in Britain, but I am almost never able to get hold of them there, either, since we usually don't leave the hotel. Do you have a recipe to post?

I just tried 4 off the internet, but I can post the sites if you want. Sadly, it appears as though I am not a hot cross bun afficianado.

Mast/Apt.... Its crazy but some of our US hotels have a mini refrig and a microwave in them... Especially in areas where people "vacation" and not just travel on business trips.

The Google has very good instructions. Put some dish soap like Dawn in there.

There are apartment hotels here where there is a kitchenette with a stove/microwave and a fridge... I think normal hotel rooms have a fridge for a minibar, but not a microwave. I seldom stay at hotels in Sweden so I don't really know. (I'm getting pretty knowledgeable about British hotels though - at least the hotels used for the kinds of events I attend there.)

I'm really, really down right now. I'm slipping, sliding, sinking. Nothing matters, nothing is fun or interesting, and I don't like myself much either. Last week was so hard. I saw T twice and that was all right but I don't know how I'm going to make it through this week. I also asked a friend for support early last week, and received it, though he was a bit brutal. Also partially clueless, in that he suggested that I should try to talk to a woman, in Swedish, about some of my stuff. But I know that it's hard to give advice that's to the point all the time.

Mast...sorry you are feeling so down...

I half laughed when you said your friend was partially clueless when he suggested you talk to a woman... I felt/feel that way too about talking to a woman about stuff but when I did talk honestly to two people here on PC (through pm) I did find that some stuff that I felt horrible about myself for... I found out others have had similar issues and maybe I wasn't so "strange" after all. It didn't make my "issues" go away but gave me a different perspective about it....

so maybe it wasnt so clueless after all?

No, I'm sure it's good advice in general. But he doesn't know how strange and screwed up I am - only my T knows that. Confiding in a woman could only lead to me feeling more like an alien, and make that person pity and despise me. I'm glad you were able to connect to people who made you feel less strange, though!

I would like to be a head in a jar, like in Futurama. Wouldn't that be great?

I hope your ivy burns (I guess that's what those are?) won't get any worse. We don't have poison ivy here so I don't know how bad it is... I think stinging nettles, which we do have, are much less ferocious.

Ooh, it's 9pm - I think that means gin and tonic.
