I didn't not get along with them. I never made eye contact with them, tried to be invisible around them and was petrified of them, but it is not like I got into conflict with them. They were not usually actively mean to me = I hated watching them with other children.

I recently realized that my wedding dress, and my bridesmaids dresses, looked like our nuns outfits. Square collars, long sleeves, sash - it was a winter wedding, but still. Im freaked it took me so long to realize it.

hankster, thanks again for recommending I google the silent meow thing. I asked my H and D if they had ever heard this kitten meow and they both looked at me like I was weird and said they had. Apparently, I am the only one he does the silent meow thing with.

He also still does this cute thing he started when he was tiny, where he comes to me and stands on his hind legs and when I bend down, he jumps up into the air for me to catch and hold him. It is getting harder to catch him now that he is 8 pounds instead of 14 ounces, but it is the most adorable thing ever. He is only eight months old and already 8 pounds. I think he is going to be a big boy.
Thanks for this!

I have a kitty that does that hind legs/jumping up into my arms thing! It is adorable. I want to get it on video but cannot video it and catch her at the same time-LOL. My kitty is 8 pounds too but she is 2 years old - she is a tiny little thing.

CHOCOLATE!!! I don't know what we're talking about but I'm kinda bummed I don't have a bottle of wine so I can have a glass tonight with dinner. And then I usually just have a bit of chocolate. Idk. It's how I pamper myself after a long day of stepping on Legos and cheerios :P

I just scrubbed my kitchen floor. I deserve some chocolate.

Because of the shape of my kitchen and the tile floor the only way to scrub is on hands and knees. I finally got smart and bought some volleyball kneepads which has been heaven on my knees but I still detest cleaning the floor.

Housework

It was none of your impudent off-hand nods,

For it clearly knew
The deference due
To a man of pedigree,

I'm trying a new antidepressant and I'm feeling quite weird. Suddenly colors are really freaking bright. I had not realized how gray everything had become. I am no longer spending big chunks of my time feeling like I am totally worthless and that people secretly wish I would leave or die. I feel somewhat upbeat even. However, I am also exhausted, but hyper at the same time. I cannot sleep at night (or nap during the day). I am not able to settle down to a task at work. Dr. says that the symptoms will subside a bit in the next couple of weeks. I am cautiously hopeful that I can keep the upbeat thing and seeing actual colors but lose the hyper, tired, queasy part.
