Hey couchies I saw my T today and was disturbed as he has cut his hair really short, I'
ve been watching it get slowly shorter and now it's almost terrifying, a deep down in the guts terrified when I look at him. I can hardly utter a word. I want to bring it up but I;m afraid I'll be physically sick. I also don't want him thinking its personal comment from me to him. Any words of wisdom, supportive interpretive dance etc appreciated.

I think that if told him 'your hair cut terrifies me', your terror would be diminished.

It sounds 2 3 4 important 6 7 8.

My t grew her hair longer and put it back in a pony tail all summer. It annoyed me so much that I didn't want to even look at it. I didn't say anything because although it is an irrational reaction and probably indicative of material for me to work on, I didn't want to seemingly attack her appearance and make her self-conscious. Even tho she's a very experienced t and could handle it. I just didn't want to go there....

I will be spending a great deal of Christmas Day on the couch here, as my eldest D is having problems with her father and she won't tell me what they are, but just seeing her dad and me does her head in...And I hate christmas. I'm panicking now.

Christmas shopping is done. Presents are wrapped and under the tree. Stocking stuffers are ready to go. I'm ready for Christmas.

Really looking forward to it. My son and his fiancee both have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off, so they'll be able to go to church with us and celebrate together here at home. I love Christmas. It's always been my favorite holiday with lots of good music and worship and family time.

I'm off Christmas day, but working the day before and after. Presents are at least in the house, although not wrapped and under the tree just yet. Am going to go start on that now!!

I didn't say anything. T is a woman just a bit older than me. I didn't want to hurt her over it.

I work the day before and after, too. But no presents or tree this year.

I love the huge green mucous that tells his person, "im going to work with you - its taco tuesday".

We don't put up a tree or decorate or anything. We have a traditional breakfast gathering at a friend's house and then a smaller dinner at our own.

And this year right now we are dealing with some serious and unfortunate health issue that has spread further and so Christmas is just not that much of a focus for us this year.

We're not having a tree this year; H and I are both a bit ill and neither one of us is up for the walk carrying a teee home. And the cats would probably overturn it anyway. I should do some decorating today since Christmas is tomorrow... really don't feel like it, but I will probably feel better once it is done.

I have a tree, but this year it's small and on top of a table. It just doesn't feel like Christmas to me to be honest; the presents under the tree were sent by other people except for one. It's like I'm going through the motions, but the joy isn't there, that's to be expected I guess, it will take time.

Speaking of giant mucouses, yesterday i received a phone call and a voice mail from a number i thought i had blocked. Looks like the blocking disappeared. So i re-added my blocking. My holiday present to t will be not letting this destroy or halt the progress i have been making these past few months. The voice mail said that i act like i dont even have a mother. Which is kind of hurtful, but i think finally getting to the truth in a twisted way.

Going to a concert tonight. I am a tiny apprehensive leaving my sick bff here alone after a procedure today.

SD...could you ask one of her other friends to come sit with her while you are gone? Or family?
