Having a calm Christmas day, went to breakfast with hubby & son at the local truck stop, and opened our little pile of presents, now we've all gone our separate ways as usual hubby on his computer, me on mine, and son in his room playing the game he got for christmas. I felt a little twitch of loneliness thinking about my brother far away in S. Korea, but the lack of drama with the rest of my family being back in the midwest, makes the lonely go away pretty quickly, by golly!!

Feeling lonely... Went back and read Couch 27... Can't believe it's been 2 years since then... Others have moved on... In better places in their journey...don't need the couch so much any more.. And here I am... stuck in the same place

Hey hey HEY!!! I resemble that remark!!

Thats what a friend of mine always used to say - resemble instead of resent. I never thought it was very funny. But now i do guess you're stuck with me!

Haha! That's funny, the resemble thing.
Happy Christmas you lot. I've had a good day.
Shakey, I always shake like a loon in session, my t says it's fear that's stuck because it wasn't processed at the time.
But I think it's too much jelly

I have a friend who always says "resemble", too - I can't really do that except with people I know very well, because they might think that I think that's what it is actually called. I have said it to T, and he laughed a lot. His opinion of my English is rather flattering.

rts, thank you for your first post, I saw it before you edited it. I appreciate that. And I'm also very much stuck in the same place I was two years ago, except I am more aware of how stuck I am, now. That is one reason I post less, to be honest. (((RTS)))

I'm coming up with really good ideas as to how not to be in this same place next year... Good thing the logical side of my brain knows that now is not the time to be making permanent life changing decisions... Only 36 more hours to go...and this will be over...

Ended up winning a little over 3000 tickets, although I think that I won over 4000 tickets on Christmas last year.

Some have moved on, certainly. And I hope most of us have made some progress in our journeys. Do you feel you have made no progress? I would be surprised if that were really true.

((Ready))

(Thinks: it would be nice if there were some objective measure of our progress. I'm always suspicious of self-reported feelings, especially my own. Is there a blood test for sanity? For happiness? I know there is a blood test for stress. You can send away for a kit and test your stress level any time you want in the comfort and privacy of your own home.)

I know I keep saying I am not responsible for others feelings, but I had a word with my eldest D because she ran around after her dad left saying he's gone. We had a long discussion after he left again. He must have heard her saying how glad she was that he gone. He had a sad look on his face, Earlier i offered a quick safe Christmas hug but refused to kiss him. I keep trying to get him to realise I am trying to be polite and there is nothing in these hugs.
I can help feeing respomsible for his feelings. I am probably doing more harm for everyone.

Seems like Christmas for me was full of fights, for once I would like to have a normal Christmas.

My years old Dave and Busters Power Card finally went out though so they had to give me a new one.
