I don't even know what generation I am lol mid 80s. Whatever that is.

Give me a good game of solitaire or Mahjong and I'm completely happy. I'm easy to entertain.

This holiday has been very bad. I am never a fan of Christmas and New Years, but usually it turns out better than I fear. This year, not so much.

Interesting. I think most people here take down after New Years.

That sucks, but I totally get it. This year was just not right.

I'm early 80s which gets categorized as either the tail end of Generation X or the beginning of the Millennials.

You can boil sweet potatoes whole for a bit before you attack them...

Fable 2 on x-box wasted months of my life.
If I had that time back, I would do it all again, I tell you!

Couple years into millennialist for me.

Funny, I never realized generations had names, except for baby boomers.

Well, there are people out there with academic degrees that need to write about something. What better way to stay busy than to argue over when generations start and begin and then try to be the one to coin the name

Hahaha that is very true! Gotta put some of those degrees to work in a meaningful way eh?

Lol, plus I don't have a sturdy knife and I'd be terrified of the blade breaking off. I am weak though in the face of tough vegetables!

This and the newest generation is a constant source of discussion with academics.

That was somewhat eerily accurate O.O (except I got my first email address when I was 16).

That being said, I lived outside the US for the first decade of my life (the 80s) so I don't understand a lot of 80s humor. I know when I'm supposed to laugh but I don't know why.

That's great. I did have some of those things. I had a beeper at 14, but it was required. I got a cell phone at 15... Again required.

I got email at 14... It was at school. I got my first email at home when I was 15.

Whoa. On point. Got an email when I was 15, but still. And that was my exact first cell phone!

Yeah - I am not saying we haven't had a couple of bloody stir fries. But it puts a bit of excitement into dinner.
