It is too bad you are not closer. My friends are getting tired of bags of experimental meats I fear. I like making them more than eating them.

Within limits, the relationship is whatever you make it. Most patients see their T in a parental role, but that should be the patient's choice, not the T's.

Many have tried to understand Stopdog. No one has yet succeeded. Best to accept her as a special case.

What kind of music would Experimental Meats play?

No. She just made the near-universal mistake of assuming that everyone else feels the way she does.

Snot-freezing cold.

I'm done. I'M EFFING DONE WITH THIS STATE.

My husband saw a job opening in FL. I used to live in FL. I hate FL. I told him to go ahead and put in a resume... I'm so desperate. So desperate.

Yes. It is still snot freezing cold here too. We were supposed to hit the plus side of zero later today, but nothing yet. I am tired of being stuck in the house. It has been 4 days now... no wait... 5 days now. Yuck! I need to get out... I need to at least see a prospective chance that I could get out... Maybe then I might shower. It's been a few days.

Yeah - i know what you mean. I almost died 12 years ago with my gall bladder because it was encroaching on my liver and would have been gangrene w/in hours the surgeon told me after he took it out. I had the worst pain of my life but I refused to go to the dr. Finally when I passed out from the pain my husband made me go to the hospital. I just kept saying It's not that bad I'll be fine until I passed out.

Hello couch! Sounds like winter has worn out her welcome, for some of us. I'm toasty in a flannel granny gown, slipper socks, about 1000 layers of cotton bandage from hip to toe, 17 story pillow tower under my knee, and my trusty space heater blasting away.

Remind me in summer how much I hate winter. I hate heat and humidity even more!

Question couches: I have the go ahead to shower (cue Hallelujah Chorus) if I make my incisions impervious to water. Short of wrapping the leg in Saran Wrap, any suggestions?
Thanks for this!

When I was nursing in my country we would use a garbage bag and use plenty of masking tape up top to seal it. I am assuming you had surgery on a limb..

Have you considered Texas, California and Hawaii?

Looking like snow will stop me from my t appointment on Friday.. Hoping that is not the case, but we'll see. The it's -12 right now and windchill and it is damn cold out. This winter is really getting me down.

We would play PDQ Bach.
The Seasonings would be a favorite.

Oratorio: “The Seasonings”, S. 1 1/2 tsp. (P.D.Q. Bach)
Chorus: “Tarragon of virtue is full”
Recitative: “And there were in the same country”
Duet: “Bide thy thyme”
Recitative: “Then asked he”
Chorale: “By the leeks of Babylon, There we sat down, yea, we wept”
Recitative: “Then she gave in”
Aria: “Open sesame seeds”
Recitative: “So saying”
Duet: “Summer is a cumin seed”
Chorus with Soloists: “To curry favor, favor curry”

I read in one of my letters from 2004 that Madame T told me told me no one would ever promote someone as unstable and immature as me. She was right, of course, but what a thing to say to a patient!

Ten years on, I'm more stable and more mature and still unpromoted.

Meanwhile, my T is the best T anywhere ever. In my completely neutral and unbiased opinion, of course. Based on a sample of, um, three Ts. Statistical significance, schmatistical schmignificance. My T is the one to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them.
