They try...it doesn't snow here very often (usually like 2-3 times a year, maybe...sometimes a bit more often) so the resources are limited and everyone freaks when it does. If there isn't ice, they usually do pretty well. There were a ton of trees down with this storm as the show was heavy and wet, so that's made things more difficult.

Ah ok. It was like that where I grew up. Now I live where it's like permanent winter... Or 3/4 of the year is winter to some extent.

Haha this reminds me of a friend from high school who was super high strung to begin with did a few espresso shots on a dare. We had to practically peel her off the ceiling she was so amped up.

This is what happens here:

That happened at my last job...the guy sounded like he was dying and we FACED each other across our cubes. He was spewing germs left and right...so nasty. I really feel for you.

I can't think of a single time I did that. I've got a 4x4 truck so I can typically get where I need to. I drive ok in the snow. It's the other assholes I worry about.

Having kids I tend to always have a lot of milk on hand. And I can make bread.

That's what happened where I grew up. There could a 5% change of cold rain - immediately stores are emptied.

I have a rear-wheel drive car so I don't fare well in the snow.

I have never done the "bread & milk" thing, either. I tend to think about things like tp and cat litter. Esp. the latter, ha. Run out of that, and it's all over!

I'm super cheap... So I tend to stockpile essentials when they're on sale. It's rare that I would be out of anything that is needed.

I unfortunately can't stockpile...hardly any storage space! Another thing besides "no carpet" that I learned from buying my first house..."need more storage space!"

Storage space is important. When we did our basement we built a room for storage. It looks like a Costco exploded in there.

I dream of the day I'll have storage space again!
Actually, now with the stbx gone I might be able to make some. The only thing that man was good for was taking up space...

Back to this trigger button - it actually makes me more curious to see than just skipping over the previous way things were marked - more tempting if that makes sense.

I still have seen the trigger button in action. It doesn't work in Tapatalk. I'd be another one who wouldn't be able to resist. I'm not generally triggered by anything here though...

I'm don't get triggered either but I did notice my interest level grew with the addition of the button than it was before thought it was worth noting. Yah, on the app it doesn't show so I didn't notice the difference in my curiosity until I jumped on the browser.

I do, but not typically by things here. However, I'm curious if that will change going forward.

Good Morning... (afternoon, evening, tomorrow, yesterday..e.tc)

I am just getting up. The critters at the clinic the past couple of days knocked me on my butt. We have 96 patients...mostly sea birds and ducks...all displaced or injured because of all the snow. They're on limited staff and volunteers (30) this time of year (in the summer we have up to 200 patients but 60 volunteers).

I like my coffee black and rich, I like my chocolate that way as well. (pretty much opposite of my man, lol)
American chocolate is not horrid, you just have to go to an independent chocolatier to find the good stuff. It's not mass produced. We have a place here that makes the most amazing dark chocolate. Not a fan of Hershey, or Cadbury for that matter.

Go Go Granite Crafter.... awesome! I am so happy for you, you'll do fine.

I am not a huge chocolate fan and I only like milk chocolate. I don't mind plain hershey's. I find plain m&m's to be pointless and have no idea why anyone would eat them. Plain m &m's, to me, have no flavor and I don't like the crunch.
I drink strong, well-made (by me) french roast or espresso in the morning. If I drink more than my regular large cup of it, it is not pretty.

My mother inhaled peanut M&Ms while I was growing up...I have always hated them.
