Are there a lot of Irish in Sweden? Or is it just "any excuse for a party"?

St. Patrick's day is an excuse for a party - unless your parents make you go to Mass

Not that many Irish people, though there's a fair number of Irish pubs. But the reason they had a (alcohol free) celebration at work is that the university has a Celtic section (offering courses in old and modern Irish) and they traditionally do something for St Patrick's.

T and I have circled back around to discussing our relationship again. I had major hurt feelings around these kind of issues last summer, and then we had a huge blow-up about him letting his wife/billing person have access to my file, but then things kind of settled down and we worked through it and I was fine. I thought I was fine. When we started dealing more directly with CSA issues in the last few months, I cycled back to feeling horrible and distrustful of him. We discussed it last week and he indicated he wanted to talk about it more, encouraged me to email my thoughts and then thanked me when I actually did email some thoughts. However, despite the fact he even thanked me for emailing, I have completely convinced myself he is sick to death of me and sick of my angst around this relationship. My stomach keeps doing flips at the thought of walking in there again tomorrow and talking about this ******** once again. I am so annoyed at myself for being such a weirdo about this man.

The inner weirdo is always welcome in therapy.

And then he'll probably want to talk about why you think he's sick of you. And then, with luck, you'll leave having figured out just a little piece of the puzzle and leave feeling just a little safer in the world.

I hope this doesn't sound too pat of a response or patronizing or something. That wasn't the intent with which it was written.

I'm having an off day. I probably shouldn't be on here, at least not posting.

The outer one agrees with CE and is not irate at all.

Tomorrow it should be in the lower 50s and sunny. I have to meet with my Pdoc who I haven't seen since he had me go IP (he offered me an earlier appointment through his nurse and I was like "Nah. I'll see him at the appt I set up three months ago"). Then I have to meet with the T that my T wanted me to consult with. Then DBT group. Then my T.

I think I'm going to leave home early tomorrow and go to the zoo and look at the animals.

That seems like a good use of my time before everyone shrinks my head.

Loooong day... ended with dinner out with a friend, so that was good. Still try not to let my depression kick my butt. My son had T today, and she wanted to talk to me because we were emailing back forth last week about an increased in some concerning behaviors. Today she broke out a diagnostical test for h and I to fill out separately. I asked her what this test would tell us, and I guess now she is looking for a real dx. Obviously have one for insurance purposes, but we have both been saying. There something more.. and I guess that is what we are trying to get to. It frightens me to label my child, but I am glad to know his T and I are on the same page.

I got out of self defense, just had to tell one of my bosses that I couldn't for medical reasons.. and if they needed a note I would get them one. Phew..

Granite here's a nice gentle hug! I'm so sorry you got hurt, did you go to the doctor? Do you have someone to help you out for a couple days until you feel better?

Me and the little went to doctor today. It's not the flu but we both have bronchitis and I also have sinusitis. Just every joint in my body hurts so bad I was positive it was flu.

So now I'm high on codeine cough syrup and trying to rest, because I can't possibly sleep another moment this day. Grrrr.

Have a good night couch!

Healed I'll be pulling the insomnia shift tonight so you go on to bed. I've done nothing but sleep day and night since yesterday. Now I'm wide open!

I'm watching YouTube vids and contemplating school work, spring break is now over.

Maybe some tea?

I know we're not supposed to leave goodbye messages but I don't see how suddenly disappearing mysteriously is helpful or kind. A sincere thanks to everyone who responded to me, "hugged" me and/or clicked on the "agree" icon.

I just can't handle this forum anymore. Good luck on all our therapy journeys.
