I want some of whatever you blowtorch.

If it involves meat this will be a challenge.

Ha! Okay. I'll have to shop around for prices. Which is fine, as I'm finishing up my game play. I've convinced my H that we neeeeeed an XBox One and ME isn't on it yet (unless maybe as a download? I don't have one so I don't know) - so once we do our taxes, we miiiiiight get one

So y'know, a new game for a last hurrah on the XBox 360.

Hopefully some incarnation of pork product will be the unfortunate beneficiary of your blowtorch exploit. Like some crispy, delicious, salty pork belly.
Thanks for this!

I just came back from dropping in on a community art place and told the owner about a project I started for the meat market theme, a pie with 4 & 20 blackbirds. I was getting frustrated because my crocheted blackbirds weren't anatomically correct and having trouble and getting ready to throw up my hands and quit. She convinced me that what's important is the concept. I'm not trying to fool another blackbird. Really. I needed that reminder. (Scratches head.)
Thanks for this!

This sounds pretty cool. Post some pics of what you've put together if you're up to it!

Instead of 4 & 20 blackbirds you just need Ken & Barbie blackbirds!

We have had a cyclone but it's no worse than a rainstorm. Other cities may not be so lucky. I see from the newspapers that there have been preemptive evacuations. (People from houses at risk, I mean. )

Many fine people have left.
But I hope they went because they were cured.

Good points.

When people with positive therapy experiences start not sharing their own experience because they know they'll just get received with cynical and negative responses, then there is something wrong here. And trust me, there are many of us who have just chosen not to share as much because we get tired of having to defend our good therapy from those who insist that pretty much all therapy and therapists are unethical swindlers who are preying on the gullible.
I used to post blow-by-blow logs of my sessions. Some people told me I expected too much or was doing therapy the wrong way or with the wrong attitude. But not many. And it wouldn't stop me posting now.

I posted my recent session with Madame T and I don't think I got a single bad reply.

But apart from that, there's not a lot you can quote from it.

However, I hope I've stopped doing #1.

What next? Who knows what kind of slippery slope I may be on. Kum-ba-ya and holding hands around a campfire? Letting the woman talk more than once every few months? Hugging?

(Okay - I have now scared myself and am off to walk the dogs)
It's worse than that. You might be on your way to ... motherhood!

It is, in fact, perilously close to getting hugged in the horrification scale.
I think the word you are looking for is horripilation.
