Lololol you spelled booger with a french accent--"boogeur"

Or would the feminine be "boogeuse?"
Thanks for this!

hang in there, Granite. Maybe try taking pencil and paper with you and write something if you cannot say anything out loud. Maybe you could try charades! Or hand puppets. Or a power point, a la Stopdog.
Thanks for this!

I had to fix it - it looked like it would have been pronounced boo-zhur. That would not have been right. Altho i dont think you will find boog'eur in larrousse.
Thanks for this!

I just want to not be so stressed and be able to talk to someone about it . things seem so continuously out of control

If you are replacing it, Hankster, why not just bust it out? Use a hammer.

I need two people to pull it out - one on either side of the door. I need a horse!! But i dont think one would fit in the elevator!

The ones I have, you take out a couple of screws and each side comes off separately, and then you can just knock the middle thing out. Can you post a photo of yours? Maybe we could help then.
Thanks for this!

I got the handle off the key side. The push button side had the screws, and i undid those before i got the handle off, unfortunately, but now that i got the first handle off, maybe i will be able to get the second handle off. At least i am making progress. I wish i had started with the hall door, it doesnt have a key. But then again its not in my face all the time either. I did get my hammer out tho!!

What MKAC said... Mine are like this too. I switched all our levers out for knobs last summer.

I'm curled up on the couch under a blanket with cramps. Good news is Ellen is on the tv and I enjoy her show.

Ta-da!! I googled change a lock door knob, that gave me a little more insight as to what might be going on, then i took the hammer and crowbar to it again. It got loose, and then it got looser! Omg it looks gorgeous. Ive had it for over 3 years, can you spell procrastinate?? Now there is a nice clean black dot instead of a crummy silver dot with white paint half splashed all over it.
Thanks for this!

MKAC - you totally need to add a blowtorch to the collection.

There's so much going on with people here since the last time I looked earlier today! So much not good stuff. I can't think of any little thing to make anyone think clearer or feel better. Going to just stick my head in the sand, at least till later.
