Hankster - I hope not. Insurance stuff is so annoying. I avoid using insurance whenever possible just because of how much it irritates me.

I am now smoking spatchcocked chickens that I have rubbed with spice laden mayonnaise. One is curry and one is more generic.

I am taking it with me when we go to a house smudging gathering this evening.

Basically butterflied. Spatchcock is more fun to say and may remove a few more bones.

Ah, I see. You're right. It is more fun.
Spatchcock. I'll have to come up with ways to work that one into conversation, it sounds so delightfully rude.

Just wanted to chime in quickly in the board game discussion.
I quite enjoy playing Carcassonne as well as Ticket to Ride. Have always hated Monopoly.
The card game Timeline is also fun in my opinion.
If you haven't tried those you might enjoy them Mastodon.

I am now smoking something of an entirely different domain and enjoying the hell out of Broad City season 2. Does anyone else watch this? I feel like the writers have been plagiarizing my life, lol. This show is incredible.

Also I spatchcocked a turkey for Thanksgiving a few years ago and saved myself several hours worth of cooking time and hassle in the process. Serious Eats has a pretty great guide to spatchcocking.

Also my pressure cooked carnitas came out wonderfully, and I couldn't be happier!

I spatchcock turkeys too. And smoke things that are not meat too. I do not know what Broad city is though.

Granite - any plans for this coming week?

Broad City is a show (on Comedy Central I believe; I watch it on Amazon) that follows the lives/misadventures of two chicks in NYC. I recommend starting out with season 1 episode 2 (I think? It's the episode with the raunchy name). I probably can't print the episode's name here and get past the profanity filter, though. But it's definitely one of the funniest shows I've ever watched.

Also sorry if this is a double post; my wireless router is being a turd right now.

Cards are pretty cool. I've been given some neat handmade scrapbook-style cards from friends in the past, and have always loved them. I've actually framed a handful to hang around the house. They can get really intricate/creative!

Hold on there. Crocodiles love their children too! Some reptiles mate for life.

One of my favorite Gary Larson cartoons was the alligator on the witness stand who said, "Well, of COURSE I did it in cold blood, you idiot! . . . I'm a reptile!"
