I am feeling very much like my inner 15 year old is running the show today. I don't want to go to work. I want to eat ice cream and lay on the couch all day and watch mindless tv. I think I need to let her write in my journal later today and see what is up with her. Have a good day, couch! It's off to work I go!!

I hate when they do that! She sure showed a lot of emotion over the scrapmate, that was kind of unusual for her. Here we were all trying to be calm, and telling you she would take it in stride, and she flipped out the most! Ts - cant live with em, cant kill em!
Thanks for this!

You do have the option to try calling again. She might have been where she couldn't answer for some reason. You also have the option to make a request for her to call you back when she gets your message.
Thanks for this!

Granite - nothing that you have posted about the therapist sounds, to me, like she is angry or does not want to see you or hear from you. I know that when I have an arranged time for a phone call - we still sometimes miss each other. Sometimes you have to pee, other people interrupt, someone else walks into your office, you step out to get a cup of coffee and someone asks a question, etc. Sometimes people say 10:00 and mean 10-ish. Sometimes it means they want you to check in - which includes either talking by phone or leaving a message and giving the info that you wanted an appointment. It happens and it is not personal.
If you feel an appointment or talking with the therapist would not be useful to you - that is your decision. But to make the decision based on your somewhat skewed interpretation about her not being right there to answer and talk to you on the phone that does not appear to be based on fact - would not be useful in my opinion.

Theres a weight loss ad on tv that shows the lady walking in the park and she says, "i knew losing a hundred pounds wouldnt be a walk in the park..." but you KNOW she had to walk that park to lose that weight.

So like on the show Cougar Town, i vote to change the meaning of "a walk in the park" to mean something tough. I LOOOOVE that show, am i the only one?

Eta - i took two freakin naps yesterday and didnt wake up to pee last night and didnt wake up early so i feel pretty good this morning, pardon my 63 year old perkiness! I havent felt this good in a month.
Thanks for this!

I don't like starting threads (unless it's a couch ) but T said something interesting to me yesterday that has really made me think and I wanted to share and the couch is the only place I can share T related things.

She asked me to explain how I was feeling/thinking etc and I said I don't have words and I'm tired of not having words all I know is *lists physical feelings*. T asked if I knew why that was? I told her no but it's frustrating to not have words for things I feel should have words for. Her explanation was very interesting. She said when a kindergartner is upset how do they tell you they're upset? They don't say they are upset because they don't really know what the definition is. They will say they have a tummy ache. So for me not knowing is okay, I haven't learned yet how to explain my feelings except for physical reactions and the physical reactions give her a lot of information.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting. I probably didn't explain it well but wanted to share anyway.

Home from C. I stopped to walk around the mall between there and here. It stopped raining, so I thought it'd be a good get out of the house opportunity. Guess the weather people were wrong it's sunny as anything now. I hate the pouring rain though, so it is good in my mind.

A troubled, psycho, evil genius, was orphaned raised by humans and didn't see a horse for the first year of his life fear aggressive anxiety prone lives on Prozac bay Sabino Mustang gelding .

He is way too smart, constantly testing , and explosive. But he is my soul mate horse and he has given me an amazing seat and made all other horses seem manageable.

I also ride my partner's dun QH. Who thankfully is just a normal QH.

We are helping a friend with training a horse right now. She neglected to tell me beforehand that the horse was an orphan. It makes a HUGE difference in terms of their behavior, doesn't it? I was shocked at how little the mare could read cues to back off and stay out of my space.

How is petpet today?

Hello brand new couch.

What does 'eta' mean that people write in their postings? I only know this abbreviation for 'estimated time of arrival' but I know that can't be it.
Thanks for this!
