Sitting in my car outside the T's office still debating whether to continue therapy. Not usually this indecisive. I fcking hate therapy and it seems to making me worse lately. At the same time, I don't really have anyone else to talk to about how ****ing insane my mother is and how she ****s with my head.

Just looked at our forecast. Heading towards 110 or higher in the next few days. That's hot anywhere, but in the Texas humidity, that will be ridiculous. Now I'm glad the air conditioner picked last weekend to break down.

Yesterday's session went so well. It's funny it's like the more nervous I am the better the session goes. However, my emotions don't feel it that way. It was nice to know that T is there and it's going anywhere and is with me 1000% through this even though I feel like I'm distancing. I'm hoping today's session can go just as well.

I actually feel better today than I have in months. I'm not well but I'm less not well than I have been. Progress I'll accept.

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday.

I am making kombucha. I have never liked the commercial stuff - but took a class anyway and liked the kind there -so now I have a giant jar of fermenting tea on my bedroom dresser.

When people start threads that are supposed to be ongoing for people to post on their own progress, they need to be sure they take everyone off their ignore list. Just sayin'. Hint, hint . . .

Start with how you are feeling generally and allow the conversation to evolve on its own. Sometimes going in without a plan creates the most productive sessions.

I am slightly concerned about separating the scobies at the end and keeping it alive until the next batch. I constantly try to make my own penicillin - stupid mds and their vice grip on antibiotics - although I have been doing well with natural antibiotics for the past few years.
The big concerns with fermenting seem to be fruitflies and mold.

Sounds like a really gross, disease-ridden science experiment.

No no - one is supposed avoid mold and fruit flies.

In 7th grade we had a science experiment that involved fruit flies because of a new science teacher. The whole school had to be bug bombed because (and the guy seemed so surprised by this) 12 yr olds are not the most conscientious beings when it comes to fruit fly safe handling and containment. The cafeteria had swarms.
That was the first and last time fruit flies were a part of that middle school's science program.

Uh, okay. Not sure what I did, but you are welcome. Things going okay this week? I know for me, weeks like that kind of have a delayed reaction for me.
