Hey all, still not feeling to good. I go from really hot to really cold all the while got this stomach thing going on. No fever though. Dont even feel the slightest bit hot to the touch.

Anyway, hope all is well. Everyone have a good night. Im passing out for the night as I did most of the day.

I've found the perfect finish for my floor dreams. How sad, the finish costs more than the floorboards! Plus it's apparently not available stateside, but I can order online from the UK and have it shipped. Anyone ever heard of Osmo?

Just watched our concert on tv with the family. Nice to hear it from the audience perspective . . . and they actually showed the Brahms Ave Maria. They usually leave off the classical pieces.

It's going to be a fun Christmas break with H and I snapping at each other... My attempts at opening up to him since Monday's marriage counseling appointment have basically been rebuffed, with him being critical and invalidating me. So, yeah, at this point, the anger is coming out. (Which should make our marriage counselor happy, at least, because he wants me to be more comfortable with feeling and expressing anger.)

After my third day of solo driving, I found a hotel with a hot tub. Got rid of the tension right away. Have a long hot shower?

If i wasn't too lazy, i'd definitely do that I also got accused by a convenience store worker that i stole a candy bar. He came to my car just as i was about to leave, and i was like "Ummm...I put the bar back," and he goes "Are you sure about that?!" and I said "Yes. I've got nothing on me," and showed him my pockets. I'd probably be more pissed about this if my drive wasn't so terrible, but it is sort of funny now.

Hi couch! So yesterday at work they had a catered lunch for us for the holiday, which was nice, and each person got a raffle ticket. Well they raffled off a few things, and I actually won one of them! I never win these things. Anyway I won a neck massager pillow thingy that's like U-shaped that you wear around your neck over your shoulders, and it heats up and vibrates. Should come in quite handy once the 50+ hour weeks start on Jan 1.

Wouldnt be so bad if I didnt have to see my uncle who is taking complete advantage of my grandma without her knowledge because her dementia is so bad he's going thru my mom and my aunt. Plus I want my grandma without the awful depths of dementia she is in.

I think I need to stay off all forums because there is another music forum I frequent where I was openly attacked for my lack of knowledge of solo work of one of the band members. I did not know of his solo work so asked questions and was mocked.

Hi guys,

I'm here-bouncing around on the forum reading (and posting a little) then bouncing back off. So you guys are not alone.😬
I've been watching the grandkidlet as he is off from school for two weeks. I've made him my official "taster" of the food I am cooking. I made a spice cake today and he especially liked finishing off the mixing bowl after I poured the batter in the cake pan. That's a prerequisite for childhood, right? Cake turned out pretty good- especially since I "winged it" adding this and that.

Tomorrow I'll make two sides. Christmas Day I'll wrestle with a turkey again...and make more noodles. I made turkey and a pot of noodles for Thanksgiving, too. But daughter managed to drop the entire container of noodles and broth all OVER the kitchen last month.
So this holiday is a re-do.

I like cooking when I have a little energy. Not so fond of doing the dishes...mostly because I'm tired by then.

I'll be on the Couch Christmas Day, too...off and on.

(Omgosh, totally random- I noticed today that my thirteen y/o grandkid has hairy legs! He's becoming a man! )

Wishing you a Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it. Hope you all have a relaxing and happy weekend.
Thanks for this!
