Breadfish?

I saw that actual painting this weekend, it was beautiful, and I thought of that song too. And I'm thinking of you.
Thanks for this!

I love the convenience of grading essays online. I love not having a pile of papers in front of me that keeps reminding me of how many more I have to read. But . . . the eye-strain is horrible. That's okay. I've plowed my way through about 45 critical essays today; only about 6 more to go.

I am running a restaurant for animals. I ffeed the guniea pigs dry food, the little pig just looked at it and looked at me. We stood looking at each other for a while til it became obvious she wasn't going to eat. I thought she might like carrot and greens. No. She wanted apple. I can't believe I just pandered to a guniea pig. This has to stop thin edge and all that.
Thanks for this!

Hello couchies.

I've been baking all afternoon. I don't particularly enjoy baking but we invited some people over for dessert after dinner and damn it, I am going to have home made chocolate chip cookies.

The rest of my house looks terrible BUT THE COOKIES ARE MADE!!

Also, saw the new Star Wars flick and caught Sherlock The Abominable Bride - I thoroughly enjoyed both for different reasons

Wow. I might have just left after that without staying for the whole appointment.

Never heard of her but some of the recipes look interesting.

On another note I was at the dairy aisle getting some stuff out of the cabinet, all these guys smiling at me. I have just noticed that if I bend over my top hangs loosely and all is on display good job I wore a bra today. Still feel embarrassed as I thought they were smiling at me but they were just being guys I guess.

My youngest cat (3 years old) will not let me put her down tonight. Every time I put her down she begs to be back in my arms. Not sure what is up with that even though she is my baby. I, of course, am catering to her every whim.
Thanks for this!

Not catering to the whims of the pets? Is that really an option?

I love all the pet discussions here. My 13 month old lab wakes up in the middle of the night still, but she doesn't want to go outside. She just sits on our bed and makes talking noises. Last night she was up from 3:30-4:30 a.m. Sometimes I think she's worse than a baby.

I'm in that "just woke up tense and stiff as a board" state I'm getting so familiar with. I think I had a nightmare but, of course, I can't remember. Here's to more sleep!

I am glad someone won the lottery so that it will no longer be the focus in the news.
