So if you count all the different kinds of T's have seen, then it are about 28.
1 = a therapist for a few months then I was reffered to:
2 = grouptherapy for 6 months, total of 5 T's ->
3= therapist for a few months, not many sessions, she reffered me to:
4= intensive grouptherapy for a year, total of 12 T's ->
5= a therapist for a little over a year, she reffered me to:
6= grouptherapy with 2 T's, I went for two sessions and then I quit ->
7= my current T, first time I saw her for 2 years, now I've been seeing her for 13 months, I've two months left with her and then I'll get a new T who I'll have for about 5 months (or not, who knows what will happen) and I also have a pdoc at the moment.

Most were talk therapy, I also had some creative and drama therapy and my current T also does CBT and EMDR.

I've had two. The first one I only saw two or three times, and she was CBT. I just wasn't that into CBT. I've been seeing my current one for about six months, and she just does the regular talk therapy.
I have three therapists .the one that I'm seeing right now is my third therapist and she is my favorite therapist so far.the one I'm seeing its been a year and four months . we get along great .the therapist before her ugh I have to say only three months cuz he wasn't even qualified to be a therapist.he only had a bachelor's degree in counseling not a master's degree that he claimed to have. he had no license to practice counseling at all . I fired him and never went back to him or the clinic that he was associated with. my therapist before him I was with her for four years . my therapist now does cbt and rebt with me . she also does dual awareness with me for my ptsd symptoms. my therapist now she specializes in anxiety, depression, adjustments in life changes ,relationships, and promoting strengths for personal growth.she is also an experienced registered nurse.

Diagnosis: Anxiety and depression
meds: Cymbalta 60 mgs at night
Vistrail 2 25 mgs daily for anxiety prn
50 mgs at night for insomnia with an additional 25 mgs=75 mgs when up past 1:00 in the morning

I started seeing my first therapist three years ago, and I'm still with her. She is integrative-relational.

My university assigned me to an "academic mentor" a year ago, and she is an integrative therapist. She is supposed to help me do my coursework, but I am currently so traumatised by the thought of it and so paralysed with fear that I can't cope, so at the moment she is just trying to help me get through that. Once we uncovered how I have been approaching every task for as long as I can remember with self-hatred and self-abuse, and that I was basically destroying myself, we have been focusing on that; she wants to help me become emotionally healthy so I can finish my degree without killing myself in the process. Therefore she functions mostly as a therapist for me right now.

I've had 21 Ts and I'm 29. That includes hypnotherapy, psychiatrists, eft etc. Regular Ts about 10 since age 14. I'm almost entirely convinced it makes life harder! Especially when a 50yr old one cheats on his wife and 2 kids with you and leaves you emotionally devastated at 23
