Singing on public transport included.
Shoot, I didn't start doing that (singing on public transport) til I became an adult. Well, my version of adult anyway.

I have extroverted enough today (coaching other advocates) don't wanna anymore but now I have to have someone y-jacking with me after lunch. Meh. Wish they'd just let me alone. I know I'm good and they think I can help others succeed too but no one cares how hard it is for me to put myself out there like that. Extroverting is exhausting on top of doing the actual work. I'm going to start working at home next time they offer it.

Sorry for whining couch. I can't say that stuff out loud at work so it had to come out somewhere. I'm the dummy who applied to do the coaching thing they just were not up front with how intensive it was gonna be and I don't want to look like a quitter. I have 3 people assigned to me now and they want us to coach each person 3 times a week and still somehow maintain our own stats and I feel like I am failing all over the place. Sorry to complain so much today. I should stop it and be grateful instead that management feels i am good enough and wants me in this role. It's just hard. I'll get over it

That made me think of the Very Brady Sequel where they were on the airplane:

I ordered an HP tablet laptop combo and when it arrived, it had no SIM card slot even though it was advertised as having one. I sent it back and have not ordered another yet.

The wider world can shove it. I'll sing wherever I bloody well want. As will my kids

And that is why I avoid other humans. I keep myself and my dogs under control when out in public - I cannot for the life of me figure out why other people want to intrude or let their children intrude upon others.

On a happier note, I have charlie and the chocolate factory going on in the background while I make some rubs for a weekend barbecue coming up.

Gene Hackman or Johnny Depp? Big difference.

I think that Roald Dahl is actually a very dark writer. That whole book is a fantasy on how to punish kids who can't behave and the parents who raised them.

Before I had children, a small child once tackled my dog from behind when we were walking along a sidewalk. The dog got anxious and I told her to sit and stay and she did. The father was hollering at his kid to come back, but she remained there with her arms wrapped around the dog. The dog just sat there with her eyes glued on me. The father came up and snatched up his child and glared at me. At that point, I got angry and asked him why he was giving ME that look. MY dog obeyed and his child was the problem. He humph'ed at me and stalked off. H said I should not equate the dog and the child. Even after I had kids I would still make the same comparison.
Thanks for this!

The Johnny Depp one - I think he is very funny as Willie Wonka.
Gene Wilder was a creepy but not funny Willie Wonka and the whiny singing annoyed me.

James and the Giant Peach was one of the funniest stories I read as a child.

I'm gonna add to my list of faults that I can't tell Gene Hackman and Gene Wilder apart.

Gene Hackman - intense basketball coach
Gene Wilder - insufficiently creepy chocolate factory owner

Gene Wilder was in Young Frankenstein(so was gene hackman) and Blazing Saddles.
I remember Gene Hackman mostly from The Birdcage.
I hated the brady bunch tv show but I liked the two brady bunch movie parodies.

Can't believe I gave up the opportunity to get stoned. I don't like the person who offered anyway plus it has been nearly 18 months since I gave up all my vices.

I loved Gene Wilder in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. I thought the Johnny Depp one was over produced and directed. But what do i know about movie making anyway.
