I have not seen it. I did not know they had hard alcohol commercials on tv.
I must never pay attention when I have the tv on

Secret of mine - I am not all that visual and don't watch a lot of movies or tv - especially those that are not dark comedies/mockumentaries. And I am always doing other things at the same time the tv is on.

In the Heat of the Night was a TV show based on the Sidney Poitier movie. Carroll O'Connor's big role after All in the Family.

Brewster's Millions is about a minor league baseball player who inherits a fortune but has to spend some ridiculous amount of it in a month to get it all.

Trail runner I can't sleep either, it's 2am and I've got to be up at 7. Good times. I'm trying to watch tv but my eyes can't focus so I'm giving up. I'll just lay in the dark and rest, if I can't fall asleep. Good night, hope you get some rest too.

If it's ok, I would like to pray that God gives you peace in your heart and his presence over you. I would also like to ask that he would give you rest and assurance of his presence.

I hope that was ok with you.

The most important thing to remember in interactions with others is, I think, that they are probably going to be somewhat similar to us in some ways but they will certainly be fundamentally different in other ways, and it is not necessarily possible to know which aspects will differ. Culture can have something to do with it, gender (in my own experience) never has anything to do with it at all, though for some people it is an important factor (see above re: fundamental differences). Type of education might sometimes affect it - that's something I have experienced with my current T compared to my previous T, who did not understand the most important part of me (my job) at all.

Assuming that other people will understand or relate to me is a cardinal sin, if I may use that expression. Using the first person singular here, because maybe this only applies to me - I have no way of knowing. The one thing I believe to be universally true is that all people are unique individuals and there cannot be two people who are exactly the same.
