Well, my brother's charges stand at least for now. His araignment is in August, so he may be in jail until then, unless my mom bails him out. She is trying to decide if she wants to do that or not, as she would have to find him a place to live, since my grandma is upset the cops came to her house to arrest him yesterday morning. Though my mom did say the judge smirked because my brother's ex-girlfriends statements had contradictions in them. Her written statement was different than the verbal statement she gave to the cops. One said he broke in, one said she invited him over and then kicked him out. She is a nutcase at times. If my brother gets out, he needs to stay away from her. Far away.

Hopefully he will get a decent public defender to fight for him. Around here there are some really bad ones. Not all are bad, but there are too many for comfort that are.

Well, I am tired. Working on the unit project and cooking all day wore me out. My brain hurts. Lol. I am off to bed. Night, couch.

Evening couch! I went swimming for a bit this evening, it was delightful, and then I soaked in the hot tub too. Even more delightful!! I was thinking about something. Remember a few couches back I was talking about my psychological house moving farther away from the edge of the cliff? Well I was thinking about how lately it's so far inland that I can't even see the cliff out the window anymore. Of course, that's not to say that I don't still occasionally take a little day trip closer to the cliff - but - I don't live anywhere near it anymore and that is a good thing. A very good thing. Here's to a future where I will no longer feel the need to even briefly vist there...

I had a weird dream, I was looking for a new job. At the end, I was driving in reverse down the street (which I totally suck at by the way!) and desperately seeking a place I could back into to straighten myself out, but the only place around was my last job from 10 years ago. Symbolic of me taking a huge step back if I leave my current job?

Anyway, here's the funny part of the story. DD1 woke me from that dream to share her nightmare (she was pushed into some kind of industrial shredder, close enough to see the cogs and about to be its next victim) when she woke up. She then got a sudden and serious craving for hamburger helper. My kid woke me up at 1 am because she was hungry, fml.

Had to look at that up. But that is probably the most likely answer.

If it was a violent crime, then it probably will trigger your PTSD. Even theft might upset you.

I have been selected to serve but I am seeing my doctor to see if I can be excused on a permanent basis. I just couldnt see her before the initial forms were due.

The sale of our investment property has gone "unconditional". That means we get to keep the deposit even if it falls through (which is most unlikely).

So much going through my head after first seeing T and then having dinner with my best friend, yesterday. I can't get my thoughts to cooperate and be orderly. And I don't want T to disappear after tomorrow.
