New cats? YAY! Please tell us more. I have a 10 year old Lilac Burmese who is very loving and am thinking of getting a Tonk kitten, but I couldn't bear it if they didn't get on.......

I have had a significant other and, yes, i would want to know about large payments like that...a "check in" would be nice. I would expect to notify my SO about my making large payment amounts in return, also.

I have not been right since last night. I am wandering around like a lost lamb adn I just went to put the external hard drive in the fridge.

i have T again today .my T a few days ago to ask if i could come in earlier to see her . i had plans but was able to change them so i said it was ok . but then all kinds of **** went through my head . i hate when this happens because it doesnt help me at all when my thoughts are so negative . i am worried that she is going to do this all the time now because i have a flexible schedule . i dont work or anything so it would be easy for her to just move me around to accommodate others who have a less flexible schedule. my brain cant seem to help going to the thoughts that working with me is less important then others . i dont know how not to go there . i hate it because i can see a healthier way of looking at it . a part of me feels good that i am able to do this for her and it makes things easier for her . but i dont want to be taken advantage of . i like consistency. it has only been this one time in the month that i have been seeing her privately.it means nothing other then she feels comfortable enough working with me that she can ask this of me . i hate how my brain is wired to just see and feel all the negitive side of things

I would cut her some slack just because its summer and the weather is horrible. My t had me come in earlier on tuesday too. Fortunately i could pick up my zipcar earlier so it was okay.

I hope it goes well, granite. I agree with you that this simply means that she's comfortable asking you - but it would be worth telling her that you really prefer the consistency. That's not an attack on her, it's just letting her know what works best for you.

I think you should tell her you would prefer consistency. She may not be able to always offer it but maybe she can at least give it to you a little more often.

T again today. 4 days in a row. I think I'm setting a record. *sigh*

It's been about 50 days since I saw T. I have no idea what to say to him on Tuesday. I have failed in so many ways this summer, and the blanket of depresssion is starting to weigh down on me again.

All I seem to be able to think about is how much T must be hating the end of his vacation and having to see me twice a week again. If I weren't so pathetic I'd do something positive... and then I'd have something positive to tell him.

Edited to add: No, of course I don't really believe that I have that kind of impact on my T.

Put false lashes on today. It's been awhile since I've done so, and I used my really big ones so I feel like I have baseball caps over my eye balls lol. Should've started with my smaller ones

Wow - I don't think I've ever known somebody who used false eyelashes before! Cool! Is it just on the eyelid or below the eyes as well? How do you put them on - is there an adhesive edge, or do you need some kind of glue? And how do you remove them?

(Sorry if these are stupid questions, I just get a bit excited sometimes when I get a chance to learn about new things )

Not stupid, at all!. Just the eyelid at the lash line. I use adhesive lash glue. Removing them gently pull them off

I've never worn false lashes either , might be fun to try, my eyes are kinda lost in my face that might help them show more...

So, T texted earlier this afternoon to cancel my appointment for today and reschedule for next week, wasn't excited about the new day and time, but I knew I could make it work it just would be a pain for childcare, transportation, etc. So, I said ok, but I maybe slightly annoyed that you cancelled today.

T texted a half an hour later and said he actually had a cancellation for later today and I could do that if that worked, and it does work much better for my schedule. Then he texted that its ok to be annoyed, but sometimes things come up that are unavoidable.

I get that, but my t has cancelled an appointment almost every month since I think March. I know one was because he was sick, and one was because his kid had something going on, once because his dog died. I get those are unavoidable things, but it happens too much. And it also annoys me because he told me a couple of weeks ago that he is going to start teaching a college class two days a week this fall, and my first response was wow you have time for that? he laughed and was like well kind of. I think he over schedules and doesn't know how to manage his time wisely and his clients suffer for it.

I would be annoyed, too, healed84. My T cancelled once every month from april-July and I had decided in my mind that if he cancelled this month, I was going to have to share my feelings on the matter. Things do come up, but consistent inconsistency with appointments makes T feel disjointed to me, and affects the work I do. So it can be both this--a fact of life that changes happen, and you can be annoyed by it also. It's good you spoke up.

Here's a dream for you.

I was fighting on the Eastern Front in WWII on the German side. Well, not exactly fighting, I think I was a journalist. And the fighting seemed to take place in an office building, and there were no uniforms. And most of the fighters seemed to be young women.

Anyway, we were capture by the Soviets and sent to a reeducation camp. Which was actually not too bad apart from the lectures.

They sent us to a giant swimming pool. I wasn't keen to get in. There was a horrible cone thing that pushed me under water. I thought maybe they are going to drown me after all. But the water turned out to be heated (!) and the current swept me out into a sort of flooded village. And then I discovered I was a pretty good swimmer, which is not the case in real life.

And that's when I woke up.

Nope! I just put on a little mascara because my eyelashes are blonde and they would stick out like a sore thumb against the fake ones.
