So I talked to my sup today about the work at home thing. I keep waffling, on whether I want to or not. I want to, but I'm concerned about getting isolated again like at my previous job when I worked at home. I've discussed it with t a couple times and she has been reassuring me that I'm a very different person now than I was then (I started seeing her when I still worked at previous company so she knows) and she thinks I'll be fine. My sup told me today it likely won't be offered again until October. So then without giving myself a chance to think about not asking, I said "Well I need to move then, because (my cube-mate) is a bully on the phone with members and I can't take it anymore she is having a negative effect on me." So I am going to move desks by the end of the week (yay!) down to the end of our row where I will have someone to my left only. And then in October, I'll put in for work at home. I am proud of myself for asking for what I need at work, for acting from my (new) heroine place instead of the old.

I haven't watched Downton abbey yet. Is it like a modern take on Upstairs Downstairs?

These are T stoies worht sharing. I feel like I am always struggling. Then I realise that I am not struggling with something and go back and can't see exactly where the change happened. Therapy change is insidious.

Wonder if this would fit in with my decor? I could use a hug sometimes, with none of the commitment issues!

OMG Couch I had a horrendous session. I forgot how do the trigger warning thing so

***TW childhood neglect****

We looked at a photo that i thought would be ok with my adoptive mum and dad and brother. I was ok until I realised that it was the photo taken after I came out of hospital when adoptive parents went to pick me up. I was just like a doll they say, all floppy with a swollen belly and sunken eyes and no reactions. I couldn't tell T this as I was actually crying and could only stammer and think that the baby (me) should have died. He then made me stop and we did grounding exercises. he said we'd look at it next time. i just need to tell someoe or i will be overwhemed, i usually don't go much into detail.

That's progress. A horrible thing to have to face, though.
