That reminds me of when i had a bottle of tropical flavor Tums at work. There was a picture of a pineapple, a coconut, who remembers what other fruits, and a monkey. And i was like, ooh, monkey butt flavor tums! People got upset. I thought it was funny. Tums stopped with the monkey. Olden times.

Eta - so last night i emailed one of my cousins and asked him to tell his mother to stop calling me. He said it probably wont work. But - it just came to me - now i can put her on phone ignore and it wont be a surprise. Go me. Last night i had bad dreams about both (mat and pat) extended families

They're only available at Target.

And Walmart apparently has pecan pie M&M's if those interest you.

Not sure where I'll end up on the heaven-hell-reincarnation spectrum on this one but....

I just ate some bacon (rashers I think they are called? The thin, long, crispy stuff) although I'm vegetarian because well, I was told the cook prepared it with love and added it to my meal (because, I'd asked for something a week or so ago and it wasn't ready and she was feeling bad about it).

Very aww.....ish, I know. I couldn't possibly say No then although I should say (and committing heresy here, I know), I don't quite get the appeal of bacon (taste-wise that is and morals [of which I have little really -- my vegetarianism is mostly a matter of taste] aside).

Now we're talkin. Pecan pie is hard to make, and the little ones often arent that great. So just a taste would be great. I saw a recipe for pecan muffins that looked doable.

Picked up my new chorus dress. It was being hemmed; it had enough extra fabric for a seven foot tall woman. Who knew female chorus members were all so tall? On the plus side, we had enough extra fabric to have pockets put in the side seams; that is going to be a nice perk. So nice to get rid of the old dress; they hadn't changed the style since 1987 - it looked nice from the audience I'm sure, but it was pretty awful up close.
Thanks for this!

OMG how was it? I've been veggie about 25 years, and the last few weeks Ive been CRAVING steak. And bacon. And quarter pounders with cheese and bbq sauce. I havent given in on meat, but I've eaten fish a few times the last few weeks and its been gooooooooooood I dont even feel guilty, and my vegetarianism was definitely for ethical reasons!
Thanks for this!

I'm trying to help I promise -- just hearing about your proposed activities is leaving me a trifle exhausted.

Haha....I know. I'm actually the last person to kinda wax eloquent about the taste of meat -- I grew up vegetarian and so, meat is an (yet to be) acquired taste at best, for me. I can't claim any virtue related to being vegetarian!

So, I confess that I mostly stare uncomprehendingly when other folks (who turned vegetarian out of ethical reasons) talk about the appeal or craving they have for it.

I've only been able to eat any meat if it's been doused in spices and made to taste like well, not meat!

Sorry to disappoint.....but perhaps, it's a good thing that it didn't bring back your craving!
