I'm seeing him on wednesday.

My best and only real friend is moving away soon. I'm scared I will just begin to totally isolate myself.. I wish I knew how to connect with other people better

I've had a dull headache for the past 2 weeks. Couldn't get rid of it. I broke my streak and took a Klonopin. The headache is now going away. I went off all my meds a couple months ago. I was down to just taking the Klonopin as needed. I haven't taken one in weeks. I wonder if that was the cause of the dull headache. Klonopin has a very long half life. I think. And I know a side effect of coming off it can create flu like symptoms. It's just weird that I've head this dull headache-nothing over the counter worked to help it and now taking a Klonopin helped. I'm not thrilled about that.

Best rock review ever!

Music tip: don't listen to Pink Floyd if you are depressed.

I do tell him some things I've written, but everything!! I reckon the biggest disclosure is not the content but just how often I write.

I've copied and pasted my posts here into e-mails before (well, and changed things like "MC" and "H" to their actual names).

I seriously almost signed an actual e-mail to MC today "Love, LT." Which would have terribly confused him--assuming he even noticed!

Haha, that would have been funny. Recently I was messaging a fellow trainee and I wrote "my T blah blah" then realised the my T abbreviation probably meant nothing to her.

That's really cool that you are that honest. Often I write stuff I never would say, especially "I love you" which I get immense pleasure from writing in dear T often. There have been a couple of times I have said "I love you" directly to T and that feels awesome.

I love Ryan Adams! I saw him maybe like 7 or 8 years ago, and it was a good show. I haven't listened to the new album--but I was hoping it would be good bc he's been sad

Def envy. I'd like to be a cat.

Thanks to my pocket riders. It went OK enough that I made an appointment for next week.

Yeah, I've found music is usually better when the singer is sad! When they get happy, it gets all boring.

It makes me think of how when I was a teen, my mom said all the (terrible) poetry I wrote was depressing. I went to this writing workshop and wrote "Happy Poem" (even more terrible) just for her. I tried to explain to her how when you're happy, you just want to be living life, not writing poetry (or making music, creating art, etc.). And happiness isn't that interesting to write about. (I also once made her a mix tape--yeah, I'm old--of alternative/indie love songs because she thought all that music was depressing.)

It's sort of like the opening to Anna Karenina (which obviously is a bad choice to read if you're depressed...): "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."

Pretty sure I have gone down almost as low as I ever have... and I got a call this morning that I have a job interview tomorrow. I need to be on, and happy. Not sure I will be able to pull that off. I need to be especially on because I am pretty sure the interviewer thinks I a more credentialed than I really am.

I'm sure you'll do great, Healed. I feel like we (myself included) tend to think we seem like more of a mess than we appear to the outside world. Just go in and be yourself. Good luck!
