At the airport just noticing and accepting the anxiety (which weirdly helps to reduce the anxiety).

In my opinion, your loss and grief is mutual exclusive to what was best for your person. The way I see it, your grief is about how her death (and her absence) impacts you directly and the "better ending" (or the awareness that she did not suffer more) is how it impacted her (empathy/sympathy). You not wanting her to have her live through what could have been a worse scenario does not mean that you don't miss her any less or that a hole was not created in your life.

Strange day....tenth anniversary of my best friend's death. My idea of self-care was to go to a meditation class. I couldn't concentrate at all. Got home and updated my emotional resilience plan. Feeling like hammered dog crap at the moment.

Have a great trip, Echos!

LostOnTheTrail....that sounds so painful; I am sorry.

It's a song by the band Modest Mouse called "spitting venom"

I am not big on any moving/blinky kind of picture. I find those things very distracting for no good reason. I wish there was a way to block them.
