I got nine emails about the work situation today and cried at eight of them. I'm just overwhelmed. The end of the semester can't get here fast enough for me, except that I have so much to do before it can be over.

And then one week off and two summer classes to teach. I love the extra money but right now I can't believe I did that to myself.

Thanks for all the comments about being told to "shut up." It did come up in the midst of a difficult, emotional session (currently writing it up for "Today In Session"), and H apologized for it and said he shouldn't have done it. I thanked him for his apology. And said it wasn't OK for him to say that to me. Though he explained what led him to get so frustrated that he said it (me trying to shout things up to him on another floor when there's a bunch of background noise, so he can't really hear me), so I'll try to avoid that in the future. On the plus side, MC did not stick up for him or say he'd done it plenty of times himself. (But I was already super-emotional, so I'm pretty sure MC would have stayed away from that even if he did think "shut up" isn't that awful.)

Well, I think I'm adapting to the new time better than anyone else. I'm watching a movie called Tales of Manhattan on TCM. It's really good. I love films from the 1940s.

Hi, couch.

I am on Spring Break from school job. Thank God. I am working 40 hours at CVS this week though, but I will still still work less (total) than when I work 2 jobs. Lol.

I missed so much since my last post. It was on the old couch.

I will be too overwhelmed to go back and read over 50 pages on this couch, plus what I missed on the old couch, so I will just start fresh by joining back in here.

I have T on Wednesday. I am not looking forward to it as I am still not doing too well. I sent pdoc an email last week with my concerns. No response, but I see him next week, so I'm sure he will inquire about my email then.

I am thinking that we may need to change my AP injection to something else. I am losing the insurance that covers it (I have ins through both jobs) and I cannot afford Invega without ins. What to change it to is the question though. It would need to be an injection as I still am not consistent with oral pills and I would rather not be psychotic. I know there is Risperdal, but it is expensive without ins too as it Abilify. I know Haldol has a generic and I tested a drug discount card at work today to see a cost for it...I could get generic for about 20 bucks a month...still not cheap, but affordable. I just am scared of possibly needed to do that as I have heard that Haldol has bad side effects and the injection type hurts. But, it may be the best option. This is not what I emailed pdoc about (I emailed him about my mood), but it is just something also weighing on my mind. Gah!

Elio, that's been a "theme song" of mine since it first came out, so I can definitely relate.

Apparently, I do not get to use my towels. He pulled down one and I left it there for him to sleep on...so then he pulled down the other...

I've heard haldol injectables are good and have less typicAL side effects like sedation and weight gain

Thank you! I adopted him at a month old from a shelter, so he has some socialization issues, being separated from mom/siblings much too soon. Prozac has made him much more comfortable, however, and he really is a sweet goofball.

Cute kitties!!!!

Makes me miss the cats I used to have. I wish I was stable enough to be on my own and have pets again. Heck, I would just take on my own at the time being.

Worries galore right now. Just took an Ativan, hopefully it will help. I'm doubtful though.

And, seeing as I was an only child, I am finally learning how to share.
