Praying, hoping her heart is not too bad and this is fixable.
Very stressful. Keep us informed. I'll be thinking about you.
Thanks for this!

Was supposed to have my appointment with M this morning except he's on the other side of the world. It's cold and rainy and would have been a nice time to have been curled up in his office. Hi M. I am not doing very well right now.

Update:
Echocardiogram is done. She went back to work. The doctor's office called her with results already. She has a severely dilated left ventricle. They gave her a cardiologist and she sees him Wednesday, the day after tomorrow.

At least I have already been treated for cardiomyopathy and I can help her know what to expect to an extent. I'm able to tell her "they did this n this n this" and my heart eventually improved a bit. Wondering if this cardiomyopathy that we have is hereditary...or just bad luck.
Onward!

Ah. Thanks. All I could come up with was Family Medical Leave - which did not seem to make sense there.

My husbands a delivery driver. He drives a 26ft truck with a lift gate. The warehouse packed the s h I t wrong and when my husband tried to move the skids around to get the skid that needed to be delivered-he fell off the the back of the truck and hit his head and his hip. He just said to me on the phone "I think I'm ok. I'm not sure" I think I need to take him to urgent care after I'm done work. I can't just leave. I got 2 6 month old babies in my care. So it's not like I can just walk away from a desk. Ugh.

Quora.com question of the day: what kind of personality gets involved with a narcissist? A: codependent and enabling.

Gee thanks Quora. Not sure about the codependent, but enabling was the only way to survive.

Hey, at least the answer wasn't enabling stalker.

Also hope he's OK, Jersey. He should get his head checked out. Would worker's comp cover any exams/testing, I wonder? Not sure how that works.

BCM - I love Derren! Seen him live a few times, always amazing.
I am so jealous. I thought his experiments were a little iffy I was worried for the people involved despite the reassurances that there were clinical psychologists and chose robust subjects. I was surprised he was allowed to replicate the Milgram experiment though.

Yeahhhh... he talks the talk regarding ethics but I don't always feel too sure about that either. He puts people through some pretty horrifying stuff.

(((Jersey))) hope your H is okay.

He made a woman think she as dead and in the afterlife. He really knows how to subconsciously manipulate people. Watch the one of him stealing from strangers on the street.
The hypnosis stuff i don't know if i buy. I don't believe you can hypnotize someone by snapping a finger or whatever. People have to hypnotize themselves

Be sure to take him in to be checked over so it is all documented just in case of need to file worker's comp. Company should pay for the visit to ER.

Thanks everyone. He's being hard headed and not using common sense. He's refusing to get checked out.
