I see my NP at 4pm.not looking forward to it

I was telling M about my tentative plans to make art for my walls and he thinks bare walls are very, very wrong. He went and brought me a pile of art prints to pick a few for my walls to start my collection. I chose one that he painted and another that his friend did. After I made my selection I realized the one I picked by M was actually a nude.... ehnnnnnnn but I love it!

We are gonna take a break from the scary things for now, we brought it up mutually. He said he was a little worried and came up with a plan with L. Ok. But I feel a bit like I'm in trouble...

Anyway now. He being all weird and awkward. I guess that is to be expected

Someone should give us both some sort of medal for sitting there in that room and saying and hearing those things.

I feel destructive now.

Yeah, I think it probably was helpful. I tend to think that when therapy is that painful it's gotta be useful for something, right?

I think my transference is f***ing with him, and he couldn't be honest to me about that. So he just didn't come across as genuine to me, at all, even though he kept banging on about how congruent he tries to be or whatever.

I hate it when people aren't genuine. I hate it more than anything, ARGH.

Probably 'cos of my mum etcetera etcetera blah de blah.



ETA: I told him about the dream with the kiss and I've never felt so vulnerable.

Actually I think that is an excuse therapists use to absolve themselves of their mistakes.

No. 3, after a mistake she made that left me feeling ******, pointed out to me that in therapy things have to get worse before they get better. I pointed out that that didn't apply to when the therapist made things worse.

She had no response.
