Pdoc in a week...I wonder if I can stop myself from picking at them so they can heal by then. If I still have bandaids then and he sees them, I don't think I could lie to him...he reads me like a book. Yet, I would be afraid to admit the truth to him. *sigh* Delimmas.

Group was good.
I mean, I didn't actually get anything out of it, but it was good in that I also didn't feel crappy.

I need reassurance.... So - I didn't get myself ready for the day and somehow I ended up at work with no shoes on....

I go see DM in 15 mins and I have no shoes. Do I stop and buy some (can you go buy shoes if you don't have any on)? Or go with no shoes and it will be okay... ?

This is silly I need "advice" on this.

If it's not illegal to drive with no shoes on go with no shoes. It might make a great talking point
Thanks for this!

I hate shoes and kick them off everywhere especially at t... I would go w no shoes if it was me. Unless I wanted a new pair, then it would be a perfect excuse to buy a pair....
Thanks for this!

I always take them off when I get there, but I've never walked in without them - I feel it's rude and improper. :/

It will and that's perhaps why I'm trying to avoid the fact that I don't have shoes on. I know the discussion thread it will lead to and I don't wanna talk about it.

My son went out of town for a couple days and left his room a mess. I am going to clean it and leave him a bill. My rate is not cheap. Lol

Don't feel silly! This is why I have a spare pair of shoes in my car all the time. No joke. I have a tendency to wear my slippers out of the house, and I won't realize until I get to school that I'm wearing not school appropriate shoes.

I'd go shoeless if I were you unless you have the time, money, and desire to go shoe shopping.
Thanks for this!

I usually do have shoes in my car (at least several pairs) and I got the car cleaned out last night. I always love shoe shopping - but no time unless I just ran in bought some and didn't think about it, but I'm quite picky of my shoes.

I can't imagine the cops caring.....

I drive with no shoes + walk around my office with no shoes + do therapy with no shoes + basically any activity that doesn't really really really really require shoes.

Shoes are evil (and mine [even in winter] are usually the most comfortable Tevas in the world).

Good luck, EM!

But if you don't lose a shoe bolting from the ball when the clock strikes midnight how will your Princess Charming ever find you?

Also, it's hard to lose a Teva like that.

Yes it is. It is also illegal to drive in thongs.
ETA thongs=flip flops
CE would call them jandals

I'd call them sandals too.

But, wow, that's kinda weird? Is the legality about safety? Or some law that's a relic from an earlier era?

I thought it was illegal to drive in flip flops or barefoot for the longest time. It's not smart, but not illegal in the US. The internet also tells me it's not illegal in the U.K., though YMMV

No, Jandals, as in Jesus sandals.

It's got to with your foot slipping off the pedal, and the straps of the thong getting caught on pedals

This is not intended to be legal advice. As always - check the laws in your own jurisdiction.

I find it impossible to function in heels. Anything more than a kitten heel and I'm basically a baby giraffe.

I just up and left my house and either nobody noticed or nobody cared. I walked out when my h was acting all perfect daddy, got in my car and drove away. Not text from h about where I went.
