I take Trazodone for sleep and it usually takes an hour or more to kick in, but occasionally if I've been very active or emotional, it hits me like BAM. I love that feeling, being tired and knowing I will go straight to sleep.

Meeting in a room full of men. I hate this. I don't know them. I took PRN ha, I may be a bit giggly. Perhaps I'll be so annoying that they kick me out.

In the south the trains are absolutely terrible at the moment, and have been for some time. Partly because of repeated strikes, because Southern Rail refuse to treat their employees fairly. They're also ridiculously expensive, and I'd rather not think about where things are heading if we continue to have a tory government for much longer.

Buses tend to be pretty good - depends where you are in the country though really.

As for places to go - I agree that Cornwall is always good, I love Falmouth and Penzance. Also Totness in Devon, bit of a hippy paradise

I would like to recommend my city to you as it's my favourite place in the world, but I don't want to say where I am! I could PM you?

Also, hello couch. It is way too bloody hot today. I am sweaty.

I am not going to further get involved in the Britain vs. USA debate, as I feel woefully outnumbered here... Paging LostOnTheTrail, Out_There and Satsuma! (Miss you Echos...)

Oh go on then, one more thing... We really don't eat a full English every day... And there are only two meats in it, both pork. Also black pudding, if you're into that kinda thing.

Usually we just have the same breakfast as everyone else... Cereal, yoghurt, toast, etc.

For many years my breakfast was a cup of tea and a cigarette.

Thanks, Luc.

Beans on toast is king for me...easiest meal ever. (Bear in mind I've spent much of my life believing that I didn't like pasta, so macaroni cheese and derivatives were automatically out for me.) I concur that it is too bloody hot at the moment, though.

You know for as much anti Britain stuff as I said yesterday, I legit would move there

In other news, I got a text from my MIL today. She's apparently been in ICU for "several days," can either H or I go lock the door to her house.

Why are we only hearing about this now? Why didn't one of H's 3 siblings tell us she's ill? Sigh.

I know that I'm a little late for the beans discussion, but I'd like to state for the record that the only acceptable breakfast beans are pintos smothered in green chile and topped with an egg. You may have potatoes on the side or add red chile if you wish.

I'm not sure I can really be the designated parent, what with my "Daddy Issues!"
