I went to McDonald's. I wanted an oreo mcflurry

"oh I'm sorry our ice cream machine is down tonight"

Shocking. I laughed and said ok got a mcchicken and fries

When i. Got home I had 2 fries. One for free.

Idk what's wrong with me I am not typically rude to people. Maybe I'm losing the plot for real

I specifically want McDonald's ice cream. But it's not worth getting out of bed for, because the ice cream machine is broken. It's always broken.

Sonic has really good soft serve. It seems richer than McDonald's somehow. I want ice cream too!

There was a really disgusting picture of a mcdonald's dairylike product machine posted on the internet recently. Worse than ice machine mold.

How are you all on #148?!? I leave and you go up like a hundred!

I was seeing a mental health counselor up until last week. I liked her. But her job wasn't to do therapy, but referrals. So eventually her job requirements changed, so that had to end.

I'm bummed about it because I liked to talk! She was also incredibly fun. Like a weird slightly older friend who is super intuitive.

I think I'm taking a break again from talking about my problems though. Partly because I am broke as ****, and partly because my life is so messed up right now that I don't know if it would help.. if that makes any sense at all, LOL!

I have not eaten at a mcdonald's in over 15 or so years so it is not my thing in general. But I don't eat hardly any fast food except on road trips once a year that I have to take with students. I take my risks with my own cured meats.
I worked at a mcdonald's once when I was a freshman in college -I only lasted about 3 days before I quit.

I worked at a Jack in the Box for a short time to earn gas money to drive to my summer job at the Grand Canyon back in 1986. I'd graduated from college the year before but didn't tell them that. I was soooooo drifting back then. I am so much more together now! Still have a ways to go, but so much healthier in me noggin.

I love the phrase "dairylike product."

There aren't any around here, but Culver's frozen custard is the gold standard of fastfood dairylike products. Imo.

So now my other siblings wife is pregnant. There is so much more than I can say here but I'm crashing inside and the pain is unbearable.

They're expanding. And also - of the fastfood chains, with the possible exception of Chickfila, they have the best customer service. Like they actually train their staff to be polite.

Hi couch.

Well, I got to my meeting early, so I ordered a flatbread from the cafe in Barnes and Noble. The person I was meeting got stuck in traffic and was running late. On my way home after the meeting, I got a text from a co-worker at CVS saying they had to send the other closer home due to a family emergency and asking if I could come in ASAP. I said I was on my way home and not in scrubs, but if they didn't mind me being in jeans and sandals I would come in. Lol. So, I did. Only 2 hours, but I'll take the hours.

Looks like not being in regular touch with the family has meant that I've gotten soft and lost my usual alertness for the tactics they use -- end result, I was completely unprepared and unprotected when my mother suddenly launched a couple of missiles.

I'll take it as progress though that it's taken me only over an hour to realize that I *could* (in some alternate universe) have other responses to them than keeling over nauseated.

The silver lining is that for once, I am rather grateful (than annoyed) for current T's high emotional reactivity -- while I sit nauseated, she somehow unfailingly manages to come up with a pitch-perfect sarcastic description of all things mother.
