I've always really liked looking at equations in other languages... how much of it never changes, and then the little bits that are totally unfamiliar and unintelligible to me.

For those with cats, it is International Cat Day.

My cat is stodgy and provincial. He would disdain any international celebration. He is suspicious when I try to give him new treats. I once bought him expensive cat food and he cried at me for two days, while picking out and eating only his old chow that I had mixed in so as to ease him into change gently, before I went and gave him just his regular purina cat chow - it took weeks before he forgave me for that.
The youngest dog just got his own foot caught in his mouth. He is the village idiot.

Is that why my cat is being even more of a twat than usual today?

That's actually my partner's scruffy sci-fi and fantasy library... My books are much more organised, either by subject matter or alphabetically by author's surname...

Sounds like me taking photos of my daughter--I have to take a bunch to get a good one! Certainly thankful for phone and digital cameras for that reason.

I didn't catch up. Apologies. Duchess today. I got angry for the first time on Saturday, now I'm not sure how I feel about any of it. It's all a jumble in my head.

It is nice having 2 extra afternoons since going down to 2x a week, except for some reason I've become my BIL unpaid uber driver from his work to home. I really need to learn how to say no.

I'm starting score study for my chamber music concerts in Belgium coming up..... I don't think I have ever had such a completely overwhelmingly kick*** program to learn all at once before

I just realized the key signatures of my program make up "Frei Aber Einsam" ... which is an inside joke that Brahms and his friends would sneak as a melodic theme into their pieces and key signature schemes. I'm sure it's coincidence but I also really hope it isn't.
