The Couch 150: Ceci n'est pas un couch

I did start to feel that at one pt, it was a panel phone interview and I almost started to cry from that I'm failing and need to escape feeling but I quickly sucked it up and didn't think they caught it but they must have. Yes how DO you get over it? I need to know too!

I don't know if this is helpful, but when I have an interview I prepare for it extensively. I find one of those books of interview questions and pick out questions that seem likely for whatever I'm interviewing for. I probably picked 30 or 40 questions last time. Then I write the question down in a notebook and write my answer. This makes me really think about how I would answer the question so I can come up with something that doesn't sound so much like I'm just trying to give the answer they want. It also allows you to consider how you would phrase your answer so you're not tripping over your own words during the actual interview. Then before the interview I review all my questions and answers several times. The benefit to me is I feel more confident so I'm not as nervous going in. I'm still nervous, just not as nervous.

I impulsively scheduled an eye exam after T tomorrow. There's enough time between that my eyes should recover from crying.

I know I say this every week, but I don't want to see T tomorrow. The only things I feel like talking about I don't want to talk about. I don't want to talk about feeling rejected by him and that I think he hates me. Because he'll say that he doesn't hate me, and I won't believe him.
